DC: 9
Marvel: 2

It's that time again people! To get your clicking fix, and vote between the two fire people! Don't actually know too much about Fire except Doomsday wiped the floor with her, but then again doesn't he wipe the floor with just about everyone? :P

I gotta side with Human Torch on this one. Johnny might be the youngest member of the Fantastic Four, but he's got a bit more experience, and his powers are far more versitile than Fire's. He was barely out of high school when he started doing the hero thing, and with all the alternate timelines, mutations and so on that he has gone through over the years, he's shown to be more than the FF's comic relief. He is also rather creative when it comes to fighting.

Not to mention he going to be Galactus' Herald in a coming issue of FF and that should up his experience and skill considerably.

I gots to side Johnny on this one. Fire may have been in the JLA and all that but HS has gone through so much as Robin said. I had to give it to the kid who takes on Dr Doom Annhilius and Galactus. After those kind of encounters he should have tons of experience to take on Fire.

I thought Invisible Woman was gonna be Galactus' new herald? Since she could see and track down planets that cloaked themselves with invisiblity and all.

Robin - November 9, 2004 04:22 AM (GMT)
Nope, Jonny will be taking her place at Galactus' side and he becomes the Invisible Man for some reason. At least thats what the previews for the upcoming Fantastic Four says.

So either Sue is getting a sex change or Jonny is indeed taking her place.

Jason Todd - November 9, 2004 05:10 AM (GMT)
Yeah I would hope its Johnny being the new herald instead of seeing Sue becoming a dude

Galactus just goes through herald after herald don't he? Whatever happened to Nova?

Robin - November 9, 2004 05:21 AM (GMT)
I was just about to say the same thing. Galactus needs to drop the Herald thing and move on. If he has to eat so much, just order take out.

As for Nova... I think I heard a rumor that she revolted against him, like Silver Surfer did. But then again, who doesn't?

Jason Todd - November 9, 2004 05:52 AM (GMT)
Yeah after goin through like six or seven heralds I'd expect Galactus to just go out and find planets himself since he goes through all that time finding heralds and all. Plus if he makes that powerful why doesn't he just brainwash them to make 'em obedient or something?

Oh to not stay off topic Human Torch totally has the skill over Fire.

Who the hell is Fire?! Is she the one who teamed with Ice a whiiiile ago?

Human Torch!! One of my favorite Marvel/Comic characters!!

Robin - November 9, 2004 08:26 PM (GMT)
Yeah, Fire and Ice. Fomer JLA members, and they were rather popular during the early 90's.

NutiketAiel - November 10, 2004 06:59 PM (GMT)
Who is Fire? The South American Scorcher? Heroine of the Global Guardians, the JLI, the JLA AND the renowned Super-Buddies?

She has plenty of experience, and her powers always seemed plenty powerful to me. I voted for Fire on this one.

Oh, and Nove did turn against Galactus, way back circa Silver Surfer #75 in a five or six part storyline called "The Herald Ordeal." She was killed by the end of that storyline. I heard that she may have come back later, but I think that was a fake Nova as part of a plot to kill the Surfer. Not sure, though.

Robin - November 11, 2004 06:18 PM (GMT)
Right, but Jonny had more exprience than Fire, especially since he's been an active hero non-stop for a lot longer than Fire.

Jason Todd - November 12, 2004 07:32 AM (GMT)
I totally agree. Johnny's been a hero for like ever. He's gone up against guys like Doctor Doom, Onslaught, and Galactus. Now I know Fire went up against Doomsday and those alien things in the Bloodlines series. But you got the Human Torch goin up against someone who's a god and a bunch of heralds who kick butt in their own right. I gots to think that gives Johnny the experience and skill he needs to beat Fire.

NutiketAiel - November 12, 2004 07:52 PM (GMT)
Yeah, but Fire has gone up against the dreaded Manga Kahn, and the Injustice League (also known as the Justice League Antarctica), and has survived numerous encounters with G'Nort. Not to mention that she served on a team with Booster Gold and Blue Beetle; wouldn't THAT prepare you for anything? Johnny is nowhere near as funny as those guys.

Robin - November 12, 2004 08:03 PM (GMT)
Oh come on, Jonny's gone up bigger bads when he was only 17 years old. G'nort? You must be joshing.

And Jonny has to put with with Ben Grimm who is more comical then Booster and Beetle put together. The things they get into... >Shudders<

Besides, as Sneek said, Jonny has faced Galactus the eater of worlds, and Onslaught the most dangerous psychic entity ever to exist. He's lived in multi-existance such as when the Avengers and FF were placed in a pocket universe by Franklin Richard. He's going to be a herald for Galactus and he's just way cooler (relatively).

NutiketAiel - November 12, 2004 08:18 PM (GMT)
Oh, come on!! Galactus is nothing next to Manga Kahn!! You know, MANGA KAHN?!?

Supreme Leader of the Cluster (AKA the Galactic Shopping Channel)!

President Emeritus of the Manga Kahn School of Melodrama!

And a half dozen other titles that I can't remember right now...

And G'Nort is a serious threat! He wrecks everything he touches; surviving an encounter with him IS quite an accomplishment.

And the Beetle/Booster team is WAY funnier than Ben Grimm. I mean, c'mon- Kooey Kooey Kooey? Club Justice League? I'm STILL laughing about THAT one.

BWA HA HA HA!!

Robin - November 12, 2004 08:31 PM (GMT)
*Everyone stares at Jim with great pitty and disbelief*

Ooooookay.... +_+

You've been eating Chris' Shibby Snacks, haven't you? Tsk tsk....

G'Nort is a threat to underwear and socks.

Grimm is the original funny man of comics and Beetle and Booster can't take that away from him.

Manga Kahn... never heard of him. Must not be that important.

Marx - November 23, 2004 02:44 PM (GMT)
And it looks like Marvel's finally gotten another score for a grand total of...3! Next part should be up shortly.
