Have you all noticed how many Supergirls there have been over the last few years? Matix, Angelic, Animated-turned-comic, future daughter, and the reintroduction in to comics of the first Supergirl from the Golden Age.
Which do you think was the best? And which do you think should remain?
I'm voting for the re-introduced Golden aged Supergirl. Kara was a far more interesting character than Matrix, Linda, or Cir-El or what ever their names were...
Although I like Linda, the angelic Supergirl a lot, I've always wanted the return of Kara Zor El.
Peter David brought her back for like four issues in the end of the Supergirl series and YES Kara Zor El is a really INTERESTING character.
Out of the ones I've seen, I kinda liked Matrix the best. But then again, I haven't seen that many of them lol :P
I'm voting Linda Danvers. She's the best Supergirl ever. She's powerful and she's different from Superman. Kara Zor-El, the original (I can't talk about the new one since she has NOT been created), just isn't very interesting, period. She's naive, she's sometimes downright stupid and she's just too innocent and sweet to be believable. That is why the new Kara is suppose to be new and different, but still, Linda is witty, funny, and she's proven that Supergirl is MORE than just a side-kick character or Superman in a blond wig and a skirt. Linda is the reason I love Supergirl and though this new Kara may be just as interesting, Linda will still hold a special place for me.
FYI Kara Zor-El is a Silver Age character, not Golden Age.
