ROBIN: FATHERS AND SONS

Several Weeks ago the heroes of the world were under the attack of a mad serial killer. Their first victim had been Sue Dibney, the wife of Ralph Dibney the Elongated Man. Their last victim had been Jack Drake, father of Tim Drake, also known as Robin.

The days that follow are difficult for Robin, as he now finds himself standing before the grave of his father. In light of his father's death, as well as the death of his friends Darla and ex-girlfriend Stephanie 'Spoiler' Brown, following the events of the Gotham Gang War, Tim is lost. His feels himself simply going through the motions of life, unable to even shed a tear for his lost father.

Meanwhile his friends and allies in the Gotham Knights grow concern for his well being. At one point or another Batman, Nightwing, Alfred and Falcon have done what they could to get him to open up, but to no avail. Instead Robin withdraws further into himself.

After the funeral, Batman, Alfred and Nightwing agree that perhaps Tim needs time away from Gotham and from the memories of ruined life. Whether this shall take any effect has yet to be seen, but those who care for Robin are hopeful.

Despite the best efforts of the Gotham Knights, Batman, Falcon, Nightwing and rest find themselves completely at a lost to help Robin, after tha loss of his father. And so it comes to tha decision that he requires some time away. A vacation of sorts.

And come that following weekend, Robin finds himself back at Titans Tower after a long absence.

Shinigami, Harm and the visiting members of YJ, Falcon and Supersonic all grow increasingly concerned with the Teen Wonder's distant behavior, yet decide the give Robin his space until he is ready to talk.

But not everyone is willing ot stand by and wait, as Greta 'Secret' Hayes, confronts Robin head on.

After forcing Robin into having lunch, Secret continues to try the a coax Robin out of his shell. But unfortunantly, he efforts are not getting very far, since Tim had fallened into the point where he is simply trying to appease her wishes to help him, so that hopefully it will get the others to stop pitying him and leave him be.

Of course this plan looks doomed to fail, as the other Titans Harm, Duo and the visiting YJ member Supersonic and Falcon discuss going to a concert and taking Robin with them.

When Secret and Robin come across them, Supersonic makes of the offer of the concert, which everyone else agree to. And very relucantly Robin does as well.

Reluctantly, Robin has agreed to join the other Titans to a concert down in San Francisco all the while trying to be sociable, but failing miserably.

Unaware to the Robin and the others though, they are being watched and one of them members has become a target.

(That's about it so far... Once we get a wee more posting, things will start getting interesting, I assure you all.)

::robin:: After leaving Titans Tower, Harm and Supersonic race their vehicles all the way to the concert, both drivers having the times of their lives. But in the back seat of Harm's PM, things are not so thrilling.

Robin remains in a distant near catatonic state of mind, and despite the best efforts of his long time friend and former-love Falcon, remains that way.

The others a feeling increasingly disturbed by Tim's behavior, never seeing him act so... dead inside.

At last the group arrives at the concert, where they all pile out of their vehicles and of course Elector is there to gloat. Now as the kids go into the show, the real action perpares to start... ::robin::

The group has reached the concert, and upon discovering WHO is actually playing the show, Harm, Supersonic and Duo are forced to face the wrath of Secret and Wonder Girl. Falcon watches on with amusement until she finally gets a moment to speak with Greta alone in hopes of finding a way that they can help their emotionally broken friend Robin.

And the villain draws closer...

(Soon we're going to get into the actual action sequence. I promise...)

As the band began playing, Robin began feeling more out of sorts and excused himself to get a breath of fresh air. Almost immediately after he left the room though, the lead singer of Ten was stab in the shoulder by two members of the assassin's league. Duo and Supersonic were quick to confront while the others switched into their alter-egos to battle the two criminals.

Meanwhile Robin, unaware of the goings on inside, is confronted by an old face from his past, the young leader of a terrorist cult Dava. Dava is intent on joining the league of assasins, and her initiation involved... The death of Robin.

(That happened a long time ago. No updates in a long while...)

As Falcon, Harm, Wonder Girl, Secret, Shinigami and Supersonic battle against the uber-assasins Shrike and Brutale, Robin continues to fight the East European martial artist Dava. But what will happen when it looks like Robin give us?

Despite Secret's rather... unfavorable opinion of Falcon, the youngest Hayes child listens to her YJ leader's commands and uses her powers to draw Shriek and Brutale into the abyss. Regaining their composure, the kids soon realize that Robin has been absent during everything.

Meanwhile outside, Robin had defeated Dava and meets the person responisble for all this. Lady Shiva.

Shiva apparent wishes for Robin to return to being her pupil, and demands that he fight her to prove his worth. If he does not, she promises to kill everyone of Robin's friends.

Will Robin join the 'dark side' or will he stay true to his oath?

Robin and the others have returned to Titans Tower, and find a concerned Superboy. But while the others feel the need to give the Teen Wonder some space, Superboy is not so certain.

And Robin must make a fateful choice.
