Title: What are you afraid of?
Quracen - January 10, 2005 10:00 PM (GMT)
Ok let's face it EVERYONE is afraid of something. So why don't we just tell everyone what we are afraid of. What's the worst thing that can happen ^^
I can honestly tell you, I am scared to death of elevators, 'cause I swear to god that I think it will stop and that it will get stuck. It freaks me out so that first time it stops and the door doesnt immediatly open I get quite a fright. And if the lights went out... All hell would break lose (in my point of view :-p) So there I have told you what I am afraid of what are you?
By the way I will probably be posting here tons cause I am afraid in more then ten things ^^
Your turn

~He wants to know are fears so he can use them against us by over loading us with them. So to combat this, am afraid of Sex :D Sex with 3 sexy women, try an scare me to death with that.
But all joken aside, am scared of growin old and being alone. I would hate to be a lonley old man with no friends or family. The people in my life mean alot to me.

There are few things that I can honestly say I'm truly afraid off. I've watched hundreds of horror movies and never get scared. If anything I laugh my ass off at them. I love high places, I think snakes and spiders are interesting, and I've never had a problem with going someplace spooky. (That would probably make me the first victim in a horror film...).
But there are some things that really do creep me out.
First: Clowns. Something about clowns just really makes me uncomfortable.
Two: Barbara Strisean. That b*tch is the anti-Christ I tell's ya! DEATH TO BABS! SHE WILL DESTROY US ALL!!!
Shinigami - January 10, 2005 10:08 PM (GMT)
Afraid...afraid...hmmmm...
I guess, even though we all claim to be border line insane and definately out of the ordinary, I sincerely a scared of the idea of not being able to trust my brain...
Nightmares of being labotomised and being left a drooling vegetable are not fun! *shudders*
Jakazul - January 10, 2005 10:36 PM (GMT)
I'm gonna have to agree with Chris on both points of his. If you're trying to use them against us, sex... and food. I'm terrified of REALLY GOOD food.
But again, all joking aside...
Growing old and being alone, hell (oviously, I don't think that really even counts, I mean c'mon), not being able to trust my mind- but in a different way than Kye's, and spiders.
I despise spiders. It's a war between fear and hate. I have honestly been known to spend thirty minutes searching for a tiny spider that I saw and then slice it in half with a pocket knife and THEN squash it, stomp on it, beat it- whatever might kill it if the last method didn't. I don't like them.
Oh, and I'm afraid of failure and heights too. (Heights are weird though. I get used to them and then fear them later again.)
And drowning. Seriously, would that not be the worst way to die? I'd rather have the skin pealed off my body than drown.
Not that that's an invitation or anything.
Shinigami - January 10, 2005 10:46 PM (GMT)
Hmmm, I'm not scared of spiders, I'm normally the person out to save them from people like you Jake! ;) And I like snakes, I went gaga over this python that Lani and I got to look after for about 15 mins, it was brilliant!
I deal with most creepy crawlies because others are scared of them so I have to get rid of them, or save them.
I have it where I usually remember my dreams and often I realise I am dreaming when I'm asleep. That's scary because you know ur dreaming but you can't wake up...and time travels differently so you begin to doubt that you are sleeping...
Highly confusing and then I'm not sure which memories are real and which I've created...
Another form of not being able to trust my brain...very unnerving...
Jakazul - January 10, 2005 10:54 PM (GMT)
No, see, I said nothing about snakes or any other creepy-crawly-critters. Just spiders. The rest of'em don't bother me much if at all. Well, I mean roaches a little, but that's not fear- just disgust. Only spiders bug me and only small ones at that. Big ones (tarantulas, wolfspiders, etc.) I could care less about... Unless they're in my room. Then they must die.

Hm, creepy crawlies don't really creep me out that much. Scary movies don't either. I've been on elevators as the fudged up but I wouldn't say it's my biggest fear. Thinking of dreams, one I have are those dreams where random monsters are chasing you throughout the entire dream and you can never really get away and continue after you wake up and go back to sleep, I haaaate those. Hm *tortures random normie* getting tortured to death is pretty high up there t- *just now realizes the irony* ah, well I don't really believe in karma anyway. <.<
atlantis - January 11, 2005 12:14 AM (GMT)
well, from what you've mentioned I have a fear of all that, specially the alone one, which is ironic because i'm something of a loner. And heights if i think its not safe.
That python was cool but heavy...and freaked me a little when it tightened round my hands. spiders and stuff i'm mostly fine with and Scary movies are uber cool....Cept zombie movies. *Thinks of a zombie braindead kye* WAAAA!!! :'(
I'm afraid to sleep. I think that i might never wake up or that something could be happening to me while i'm asleep and i cant stop it.
Jakazul - January 11, 2005 02:12 AM (GMT)
My worst dream I'm in the dark and then these two like monster-truck headlights come on right infront of me and there's like this angel right infront of me, and way off in the back there's like... a hermes (kinda like the first flash) running and the closer he gets the louder this screeching noise gets and then all of the sounds go way to high and way too low and... Yah. I haven't had it in a while. I think it was something to do with my ear infections that I used to have. (And now I have no tubes [the natural kind] in my ears.)
I'm a loner too, but I kinda break myself of it from time to time so I dunno...
Creepy movies are cool.
Lani... Afraid of sleep... You must be scared a lot. jk
Quracen - January 11, 2005 03:04 AM (GMT)
My worst nightmare is lost in meh memory 'cause I never remember any of my dreams.
But I am sort of afraid of sleeping. Its not the dark that scares me necessarily. Every little noise, when its dark and I'm about to go to sleep freaks me out. Which is why I spend most of my time under the covers. Every time I even think I hear the dorr open or some door open I imagine some killer come on to slit my throat. Which is why I hate watching scary movies, I hate the after effect. And its worse when my sister bangs on the window for me to open the door. It freaks me out, cause I don't know who's onthe opposite side of the window. Anyways thats another one of my fears.... Expect more in the future.
Jakazul - January 11, 2005 03:30 AM (GMT)
Dude, the little noises scare me too. A lot. I actually kinda like the dark, but not the effects of it on my imagination. :P
And since my room isn't connected to the house and is actually like... ya know. A seperate house really. Just that it's one, normalsized room... If somebody banged on my door or windows I would be so freaking scared. Like hiding, calling the cops and looking for my medal dowel rod all at the same time.
(For refference: I have a metal clay tool that I use for eye sockets and stuff when sculpting heads. It's like half a foot long and SUPER sharp. More dangerous than my pocket knife or dagger/letter opener. (Now if I was inside and could reach my sword... THAT would be a weapon)
Falcon - January 11, 2005 07:58 PM (GMT)
I absolutely love the dark. Its actualy kinda calming to me. The tiny noises kinda freak me out a bit too, but thats why, living out in the country in texas, I had peppar spray and one of my sharp pin nibs next to my bed. Now thats all in storage, but I live in the back of a house in whisch most theifs would consider a storage closet of some sort and just pass by. So it's all good. Not to many noises in my apartment anyhow. ;P
I'm not scared of heights. I love roller coasters(Like the ring of fire. Fun fun) I used to be scared of them when I was younger, but not anymore.
Hmmm.....I'm deathly scared of spiders. If I see one in my apartment but cant find it after I got get a heeled shoe to kill it with, I'll spend the entire night paranoid that its in the bed and crawling up my legs~Shiver~
I too, am also scared of ending up alone. Sixteen, never been kissed, only been out on a date once with a guy who was strictly 'just friends'(He was a senior and shy and his friends thought I was too young), ect. Just a fear everybody has. That and being in a relationship with a guy whos nothing that he seems.
Hm.......I'm also afraid of having my hand broken or my achiles heel tendon torn(It just seems so painful!)
Jakazul - January 11, 2005 09:02 PM (GMT)
Spiders should all die. I've never been kissed either, but you've got two years on me. Anyway... yah.
Shinigami - January 12, 2005 05:11 PM (GMT)
Dudes there is no big deal with the kissing, I was 18 before I was kissed and trust me, it's over rated.
AND U MEAN NASTY SPIDER KILLERS!!! j/k :D
Jakazul - January 12, 2005 10:26 PM (GMT)
Yeah, I don't have a problem with the kising at all. My fear of ending up alone roots from so many other things, even if that WAS an issue with me it'd be low on the list.
Spiders are evil. They must die.
