One day after class Fred Freeman had decided that he would take a birds eye view of the city that was Fawcett. Just as he was about to find a place and call out Captain Marvel, he heard his name being called. "Great, it's Athena." said Freddy. "Ever since he had became Captain Marvel JR, this is the only girl that would look at him or even try to talk to him, "I guess she likes the helpless look." said Fred.

Before she could talk to him, he had cruched his way out as fast as he could go on his crutch. He found a clearing where no one could see him and said "CAPTAIN MARVEL" and flew off as fast as he could. "I know she probably has a thing for me, yet I can't tell her or she could blab all of my secrets! I wonder how Robin deals with it." Fred was thinking to himself.

Along the way, he had saw Billy and Mary, Freddy's allies and surrogate Brother and Sister, he had to pretend not to know them in their civvies or it might draw attention, yet they saw him and semi-waved at him, he did the same. "Everything looks normal" said Freddy, "Better get back to class."

As soon as he got to class he saw Athena nearby, he had glided to his little hiding place, got back on his crutch and changed back to Freedy Freeman. "she's not so bad, maybe if I get the guts to, I'll tell her everything." He felt that him and Athena had a little spark, and maybe it could grow into a flame with time.
