Title: JLA Idea
Description: Just some random idea

I've been trying to think of a JLA story for a while now and I'm not exactly the most creative person around, so this idea is pretty much un-original, but how about doing a story about what the guys do in there down time. There'd be no major evil, so it might be a little un-eventful, but they're not heroes 24/7 are they? [Well that could be argued but, that's not the point] You'd have some poor soul stuck on monitor duty, a few random people around, and the rest could be doing whatever the hell they like. It could be fun.....or not as the case may be. This is basically the only idea I'm willing to share, so just wondering what you think.

So, let me see if I understand what you're getting at?, what if the story involves a look into the lives of each JLA member?

For example, Oracle traveling the world or maybe rebuilding the Clocktower in Gotham, Superman fighting some big bad while trying to make it home for dinner with the wife, Batman being... well Batman.

Basically it would be a bunch of solo-stories, right? The JLA ouside of the JLA?

I think it could work, you know. This story would get all the players involved at their own pace, so that when you guys start an actually storyline with a villain, you'll have more practice writting together.

Well, the only problem is tha the story seems vague. It needs something to keep the players involved. That's been the biggest problem with the JLA stories. People have been giving up on them too soon.

Sounds alot like the first issues of the Ultimates (the writers claimed a supervillain would not show up for 6 issues, eventually one of their own members went on a rampage, giving them something to do). Still, an interesting concept.

What would I be doing? Tiding up the good ol' Fortress of Solitude?

Well, not much of anything since this storyline probably isn't going to happen. No one seemed intersted in it.

Well, we need to start with some kind of plot, eh? Any ideas?

That's been the question for nearly 4 months now.

I tried thinking of something, it's not my fault it wasn't anything good. But yeah, you're right we do need a plot. Someone could have a birthday...or not. I think I'll leave the ideas to someone else.

Well, I'm a tad bit rusty on which villains are even still alive. If I had an idea of who's still around, maybe I could work something out. Any ideas?
