Powers: Despite having no super powers, Oracle has her fair share of skills. She's the best computer hacker on the planet and makes up for what she lacks in physical ability with her talent. She also has a photographic memory. Despite her inability to walk, Barbara is still highly trained in multiple forms of martial arts, though now they are dependent on her upper-body strength.

Weaknesses: The inability to use her legs is one of Barbara's main weaknesses however much she tries to deny it. But to compensate for this she has extremely high upper body strength. Babs is also a proven workaholic which may be her downfall, since all work and no play make her even more cynical.

Weapons, Gadgets, Miscellany: Barbara is skilled in multiple weaponary, including guns, Batarangs and primarily collapsable Escima Fighting sticks which she has hidden on her Wheelchair at all times. Barbara's primary weapon though his her vast computer database.

History: Following the death of her parents at an early age, Barbara Gordon moved to Gotham City to live with her uncle, Jim Gordon, who later adopted her. Babs lived a fairly normal life considering who her adoptive father's contacts were. Her career as Batgirl launched when she was making her way to a police masquerade ball donning a batgirl costume of her own creation. Seeing a crime in progress she jumped straight in saving the life of Bruce Wayne. After getting her first taste of crime fighting, Babs went out everynight from then on continuing to fight crime. It didn't take Batman long to realise who this new vigilante was and it proved an impossible task to dissuade her from her choice of career,as in the end Gotham's Dark Knight agreed to train her. In the next few years the heroine known as Batgirl fought many a foe and after defeating Cormorant she was ready to return to leading a normal life.
With a single shot the career of Batgirl ended. Granted she had decided on retiring but having it end like this was not what she had in mind. When the Joker shot her through the stomach it had shattered her spine meaning she was confined to a wheelchair for the rest of her life. This at the time had seemed like the end for the female vigilante but in fact it was only the beginning of her career.
Hiding from the rest of the world, she only ventured out for therapy sessions, unsure of what life had in store for her. Putting her skills as a researcher into action Ms.Gordon became a librarian thanks to a grant from the Wayne Foundation. Working with computers Babs found she had a talent for it, and while working on a case for her father she slowly discovered herself. During the peroid in which she found herself again, she recieved training from martial arts master Richard Dragon, who taught her the art of Escrima. After a long period of training Barbara had honed her the working parts of her body and also regained some of the self confidence she had when her career as Batgirl first began. Following a dream involving the Oracle of Greek mythology her new life was finally set in motion.
The debut of her new career was working as part of the suicide squad, from the on, known as Oracle, Babs was the ultimate source for information, with everyone in the superhero world coming to her for help.Despite her disability she makes up for it in the safety of cyber space where she sees all and knows all. Having finally found herself again, Oracle gave the okay for a new Batgirl, Cassandra Cain, who she can watch from a distance to make sure the legacy of Batgirl stays alive. Following the destruction of the clocktower during the gang war, Babs travelled with the mobile BOP with Lady Blackhawk until she set up shop in Metropolis. Oracle however has decided to grace Gotham with her presence once more.......
