Powers: Arsenal is a normal human without any super-human abilities. He does have extesive training in covert operations along with detective and analyitical skills, one of the best archers in the world.

Weaknesses: Being a mortal, Roy can be hurt, fall ill and get killed like a normal person. He is also a recovering drug addict and is recovering from a recent shooting and nearly killed him and has left emotional and mental scars.

Weapons, Gadgets, Miscellany: Roy's primary weapon is his bow and arrow, which ranges from a veriety of trick arrows including: Boxing glove arrow, Flare arrow, Grappling hook arrow, boomerang arrow and cryonic arrow, yet he can use normal arrows if he wishes. He is also skilled in many other forms of weaponry such as guns, knives, swords.

History: While visiting a Navajo ranch with his father; Roy had seen his father for the last time as he had seen him rush into the burning forest and save an indian chief. Out of courtesy for his rescue, the Indian named brave bow kept Roy and trained him as his own. Later at an archery contest, Roy caught the attention of Green arrow, who was judging. After meeting him, Roy became his sidekick, becoming Speedy.

Later Speedy teamed up with Robin, Kid Flash, Wonder Girl, and Aqualad in order to help their mentors who were being controlled. After that mission the five of them decided to form the Teen Titans, they lasted for a long time until they all felt that they should focus on their studies and disbanded. After that, a mysterious girl named Raven arrived and gathered the original team together (Aqualad was not among them) and reformed the team along with new heroes Gar Logan (Beast Boy), Victor Stone (Cyborg) and Kory "Koriand'r" Andr (Starfire).

For Roy everything started out all right until Green Arrow left to travel the United States with Dinah Lance (Black Canary II) and Hal Jorden (Green Lantern II). Feeling abandoned by his surrogate father/mentor he had quit the titans and started taking heroin. With the help of Dinah and Hal Roy finally got control of his Heroin addiction.

After he got over his addiction, Roy became an agent for the goverment which caused him to do his own traveling. His travels sent him to Asia where he had an affair with the assassin Cheshire, later he would find out that she was carrying his daughter Lian. Roy then joined the government group Checkmate and it was with this group that he changed his name from Speedy to Arsenal.

Roy came back from his travels only to have Nightwing say to him that he wanted him to take command of a new team of Titans and Roy accepted and from the pay of the goverment, Roy became the leader of his own team of Titans. The team lasted for only to have them quit because no one had any devotion to the team. Roy was also involved in the Technis imperative, which pitted him and other Titan members (Minus Atom II and Green Lantern V) against the JLA. With that mission over, Nightwing, Arsenal, Troia, Tempest and the Flash decided to reform the Titans and start a new team (with fellow members Argent II, Cyberion, Jessie quick, Damage).

They lasted for a while until Troia’s death at which Nightwing disbanded the Titans. Roy persuaded Nightwing to lead a new team that he brought together himself with him as second in command Nigtwing called this team the Outsiders after batmans former team, he also has a heavy relationship with fellow member Grace and is trying to be a better father for Lian.
