Title: Freakiest Movie Monster
Description: Watch out for Fangs

Robin - April 27, 2005 04:37 PM (GMT)
I've listed the monsters, now YOU pick the freakiest.

Vote or they will suck your blood! And maybe throw up on you...

Falcon - April 27, 2005 06:46 PM (GMT)
Out of all of them....I'd have to say Paris Hilton freaks me out the most.
I swear sometimes she doesn't even look real. It is my theory that she is an evil alien robot designed to give as many men STDs as possible.
The only solution is to bomb her mansion. All of them. And any Hilton hotels she own since these hold undergroud battle ships.

This has been your bizarrae conspiratist theory of the day. Please tune in tomarrow for American Idol, Brain Eating Zombies. :-P

Technically Dracula and Frankenstein dont belong on the list. They were created in literature.

And Frankenstein was the docter's name, the creature was never given a name that I know of.

Robin - April 27, 2005 07:39 PM (GMT)
Yes, they do belong on the list Justin. They may have been created in Litterature, but they still appeared in movies and they are still called monster movies are they not?

And while the monster wasn't given an offical name, he is still refered to as Frankenstien by people. Not the exact term for him, but it still counts.

Shinobi - April 27, 2005 07:55 PM (GMT)
Touche. Alright yeah...i'll give ya that one.

Marx - April 27, 2005 10:03 PM (GMT)
As creepy as Paris is I had to go with Jason, just because not only is he freaky but he never says anything. That would just be freaky.

STOMP - April 28, 2005 01:57 AM (GMT)
Freddy all the way. I haven't even been able to force myself to watch Freddy v. Jason... there is no way that failed hockey goalie could take on the nastiest teenager-possessing demon in history.

Robin - April 28, 2005 02:08 AM (GMT)
Something about dirty sluts who think they can act freaks me out. Hence my vote for Paris.

Marx - April 28, 2005 02:18 AM (GMT)
Hey I'm a Freddy fan as well, and I think they covered the two fights pretty well(they fought both in the real world and in the dream world). And once you've seen someone Southparkized it's hard to find them scary lol which is why I didn't vote for Paris.

Robin - April 28, 2005 02:20 AM (GMT)
Try watching HOUSE OF WAX, and then tell us what you think... >Shudders...<

Marx - April 28, 2005 02:24 AM (GMT)
You know, originally I had no desire whatsoever to see that movie, but now I shall purely to show her nonscariness...or I'll end up sucking my thumb under my covers waiting for it to all go away...

Shinobi - April 28, 2005 04:00 AM (GMT)
heh, i voted Micheal Myers, guy never talks like Jason and no matter what you do he ALWAYS comes back...like...many movie beings...okay shut up.

Robin - April 28, 2005 05:41 PM (GMT)
To be honest, Freddy, Jason, Michael... They aren't scary. I watched their movies when I was little, and I found them freakin' stupid more than anything and spent most of the time making commentary.

The old monster movies just had something about them that drew my attention. They 'were big budget, special effect giants, but they had character and story unlike most of the horror movies today.

Shinobi - April 28, 2005 09:00 PM (GMT)
Indeed, i'll give 'em all that. I prefer the movies that can give me a heart attack through suspense not the gorefest movies with little plot. Give me Dracula from the thirties any day.

Mothra

Origin

Mothra's origin is not well known. It was the guardian of an ancient race of tiny subteraneans named the Cosmos who lived on earth. The Cosmos civilization became very advanced but the Zen of Earth Lifeforce created Battra to kill Mothra and wipe out the Cosmos. Although Mothra defeated Battra, the civilization of the Cosmos was defeated and Mothra lay dormant for many years. In 1992 it hatches from an egg when Godzilla and Battra threaten Japan.

Worshipped as a benevolent god representing both love and renewal by the natives of Infant Island in the South Pacific, Mothra maintains a close telepathic contact with two tiny twin priestesses, the Shobijin (or Fairies). Its behavior patterns and communication abilities indicate an above average level of intelligence. It is one of the most beautiful of all monsters with its fuzzy body and colorfully patterned wings.

Mothra first appeared in Japan to recue her tiny, foot-tall twin priestesses, who had been kidnapped by an unscrupulous promoter (Mothra, 1961). Later, in Mothra vs. Godzilla (1964), humanity appealed to Mothra for help against Godzilla's aggression.

King Ghidorah

Origin

Ghidorah, the ultimate evil, is a planet-destroyer monster. It travels through space as a meteor but shows up as a golden, three-headed, bat-winged dragon with two tails.

Ghidorah first appeared in "Ghidorah the Three Headed Monster". A woman delivers a message from the martians (venusians) regarding the coming of an new monster that already destroyed Mars's (Venus’) city, Mellenia, before. Rodan and Godzilla were about to break out and start to destroy Japan when Mothra (in larva form) convinced both of them that they needed to work together to fight Ghidorah, who was just born out of a meteorite. Mothra first resisted Ghidorah alone but was about to give away then Godzilla and Rodan had a change of heart and helped defeat Ghidorah. It was a long fight but Ghidorah eventually retreated into space. Later the monstrous dragon lands on Planet X, where it tries to pursue its celestial reign of terror in the sequel Invasion of Astro-Monster (or Godzilla vs. Monster Zero, 1965). In his search for destruction, the monster alternatively teamed up with Gigan and was somehow manipulated by alien races, the Xians, the Kilaaks, and the Spacehunter Nebula aliens.

The new Ghidorah's (Heisei series) origin lay not in space but in the future. It was created from the atomic fusion of three genetically engineered creatures (called Dorats). His middle head severed by Godzilla, it was revived another time by an evil alien from the future (Futurian), who refurbished him as Mecha-King Ghidorah.

Special Weapons

Gravity beams ray out of all three mouths, hurricane winds from wings, creates strong shock waves when flying, meteoric form

You sound like my manager at work. She ADORES Godzilla. For Christmas we all got her the complete Godizilla movie library and she was absolutely giddy.

You got a little drool... no... on your chin... your left... not the other left... eh.... never mind.

kidflash3 - May 1, 2005 11:30 PM (GMT)
I would've voted for Chucky, but I did Freddy. A horror story about a guy that can kill you in your dreams is more scary than a movie about a serial killer's soul inside of a dol that isl trying to posses your son.
