Description: There's more than you think...

Robin - April 27, 2005 10:47 PM (GMT)
Yes, boredom has once again shown its ugle face. We know that Batman Beginings, Supreman Returns and Fantastic Four are expected this summer along with the current Sin City. Well here is what is expected in the following 2-3 years.

X-Men 3 (She's back...)

Spider-Man 3 (Lizard or Venom?)

Daredevil 2 (Umm... he's red.)

Elektra 2 (Well... she's hot, right?)

Captain America (The patriotic boy scout)

Green Lantern (He's his own night light)

Batman vs. Superman (Chances of they pulling this off and not pissing off people... nill)

Wolverine (Yeah... cause he doesn't have enough exposure, huh?)

Catwoman 2 (They're f**king kiddin' right?)

Hulk 2 (Kill... Kill...)

Alpha Flight (You know... the Canadian Avengers... kinda)

The Flash (Fastest man alive and he's red.)

Iron Man (His suit can be used as a bathroom too.)

Thor (Its Fabio with a hammer)

Ghost Rider (I want his motorcycle)

X-Men 3 (She's back...) Not sure the director just said he wasn't a big fan of the Phoenix saga. I don't think that's going to happen.

Spider-Man 3 (Lizard or Venom?) More like Sandman and a new Green Globin.

Daredevil 2 (Umm... he's red.) Not going to happen.

Elektra 2 (Well... she's hot, right?) Very hot but I also doubt that it will happen.

Captain America (The patriotic boy scout) Now there's a movie I'd like to watch. Go Caps!

Green Lantern (He's his own night light) As long as Jack Black is nowhere near this movie I'm all for it.

Batman vs. Superman (Chances of they pulling this off and not pissing off people... nill) Prob'ly not going to happen too.

Wolverine (Yeah... cause he doesn't have enough exposure, huh?) They hired the dude who wrote "Troia" to write this one... not a very good sign.

Catwoman 2 (They're f**king kiddin' right?) Let's shave their dogs and dress it like french maids if they decide to go through with this!! The chances of happening are very small since the movie tanked in the BO.

Hulk 2 (Kill... Kill...) I want a second movie. NOW!!

Alpha Flight (You know... the Canadian Avengers... kinda) Couldn't care less.

The Flash (Fastest man alive and he's red.) David S Goyer will be writing and directing and Ryan Reynolds is interested in playing the part. Yay, another DC Flick!

Iron Man (His suit can be used as a bathroom too.) Nick Cassavetes was going to direct but he bailed due to to creative differences.

Thor (Its Fabio with a hammer) Thor. Blah. Screw him.

Ghost Rider (I want his motorcycle) Never read a single comic with him, nor do I intend.

Alan u forgot "Wonder Woman" Joss Whedon writing and directing. That should be fun!!

What are you talking about Fab? Its been confirmed that its the Phoenix Saga every single time the movie brought up. The end of X2 was the introduction of the Phoenix. Famke Jassen is signed to return to reprise her role as Jean Grey. Everyone involves says the same things: Its about Phoenix.

And I have never heard anything about the director not being a fan of the Phoenix Sage.

Not according to every thing I've read about the movie. This month's wizard said it was between Lizard and Venom as the top choices.

A script is being written for both of them. Whether it will get beyond that is still very possible.

Why is it a bad sign?

I've lost all respect for you.

Depends on which fan site you look at. Wizard mentions he's still interested.

Who cares about the comic? I just think the motorcycle is wicked.

Indeed.

Avi Arad's recent comments suggested that Dark Phoenix wouldn't be a major factor in X3. "It should never be this one story. The main characters are more important than Jean Grey," Arad told Empire.

"This is a bigger story. Everybody's expecting Dark Phoenix, but Dark Phoenix would never be the main show. She'll be one of the characters, that's it. There are a lot of stories to tell."

That's what I read. I got confused.

First you gotta consider ur source. Wizard. You got always check with "Rotten Tomatoes", "Super Hero Hype" and C2F. And according to C2F, Thomas Haden Church, who already signed to be in the movie is prob'ly playing Sandman. I'd like to see Venom like everyone else, of course, but...

Sorry Alan, but they pulled the plug. Both Elektra and Daredevil did horribly in the BO and the series is cancelled. Ben Affleck already said that he has no intention to play the character again. The producers of Elektra were expecting the DVD sales to help but it didn't. Obviously, the movie sucks.

Wolverine (Yeah... cause he doesn't have enough exposure, huh?) They hired the dude who wrote "Troia" to write this one... not a very good sign.

Because "Troia" sucked in more ways than one? Being the script one of the worst things from the movie?

Catwoman 2 (They're f**king kiddin' right?) Let's shave their dogs and dress it like french maids if they decide to go through with this!! The chances of happening are very small since the movie tanked in the BO.

Not going to happen. Not when they spent nearly 80 Millions dollar and the movie grossed 40M. We can all chill out.

Hulk 2 (Kill... Kill...) I want a second movie. NOW!!

Meh. I've lost respect for myself a long time ago, old friend.

Iron Man (His suit can be used as a bathroom too.) Nick Cassavetes was going to direct but he bailed due to to creative differences.

I'm guessing he's out. Cassavetes is too "Indie". He prob'ly came up with a freaky Idea like wanting to shoot the whole movie in B&W and having Iron Man as a Tap Dancer in France, circa 1927 and got the foot in the ass from the producers.

Don't like Bikes. So, I really don't care about this one.

Just read something that freak me out. Joel Silver, the producer, said that Whedon had fun ideas as to how they could re-invent the character... *sighs* Why is it that those stupid motherf**kers think that they need to re-invent iconic characters such as Catwoman, Wondy and Superman (one day I tell what Jon Peters wanted to do with the character)??

They should all burn in hell for this.

Robin - April 28, 2005 12:42 AM (GMT)
The Phoenix is going to play a central role, since the resurrection of a character is rather big. But there is talk of the Sentiels and the Hellfire Club involved and Storm's character being expanded.

I trust Wizard more than I do Tomatoes", "Super Hero Hype" and C2F because they're often rumor brought up by fans that 9 out of 10 times are fake until the actual movie starts production. After all they once said that Hugh Jackman wasn't coming back.

Thomas Haden Church has been confirmed to join the cast, but his role as a villain hasn't been defined. He could be Hobgoblin, Sandman, Hydroman, Shocker, etc, etc...

And are we talking about Troia the comic or some movie named Troia?

You actually think that because a movie did bad, that's going to stop them from making a sequal? Its Hollywood remember? And while we all pray they won't do another Catwoman, scripts have been rumored to be submitted and despite winning the award for worst Actress in Catwoman, Halley Berry says she'd return for a sequel.

Cassavetes was said to still be director in the recent issue of Wizard, since he was the one who helped cast the lead and such. Seems odd he'd quit after investing so much time.

And remember, this is Joss Whedon. His idea of re-inventing, is retelling the original story is an updated fashion that remains true to the original. I trust him to take care of Wonder Woman, just like he's taken care of the X-Men. Its still going to be about the Amazon Princess, indowed by the gods with powers. Joss himself says he hates it when people screw with the classics.

X-3: Theres no way they can't bring Phoenix back in X-3. I honestly didn't like the end of X-2 because they made it so brutally obvious that that would be the plan for the next film. I just wish they could be sneakier about it.

Spidey 3: If sandman, hydroman, or shocker are in the 3rd spidey, I'd have to assume they'd be a secondary villain, there for cool fight scenes rather than for the focused storyline. Everyone heard Venom was next before S2 even came out, but I figure Lizard is a very real possibility. Parker should be working for Doc Connors already, shouldn't he. I hope they take a movie off with the Goblin storyline, because I'm sick of him. If william defoe didn't play GG in the first, I would've hated the movie. Lets just cross our fingers and hope for everyone's favorite symbiote.

Ghost Rider: This one is actually getting filmed. I don't know a ton about the character, but I'm looking forward to seeing the flick. They've got Nicholas Cage on as the lead... And who doesnt wan't to see his head lit on fire!?!? Nah I love you nicky.

Robin - April 28, 2005 01:38 AM (GMT)
Actually, I look forward to seeing Nick's head on fire. And not cause I like him.

In X2, they didn't want to be sneeky about it Giff. the Phoenix thing was to be hinted at during the movie because its been a plot point through all the movies. In movie one, Jean was affected by Magneto's machine. In movie two, Jean's powers start to grow. In Movie three, she goes super-nova.

Its much like what they've done in the comics. For new people its mysterious. For old fans its exciting. And the ending was just brillant. When I saw the movie, the entire theatre litterally gasped in unision when they saw the fire effect and since it was opening night, every who was a fan started applauding for that scene alone.

STOMP - April 28, 2005 01:52 AM (GMT)
I liked the movies and how they treated the character. And Famke is one of the most beautiful women alive (despite her name). The bird sillouette in the water was just too over the top for me.

And Griff? Hell you're getting closer. Once you get it, they'll all catch on.

Ok and heres a good question... Based on the movie versions alone.

Would You Rather Ride?

A) The Batmobile
B) Ghost Rider's bike
C) Famke Jassen

Ok lets do it between A and B, because lets face it... Famke blows away any kind of competition!

Robin - April 28, 2005 02:00 AM (GMT)
Okay, the Framke joke was really poor taste. And that's saying a lot coming from me. A fine woman like that is not 'riden'.

STOMP - April 28, 2005 02:03 AM (GMT)
That is true. Exhibit A... Golden Eye: The last Bond movie worth watching. She was doing all the riding, and killing people with her thighs while at it... BLISS!

Robin - April 28, 2005 02:10 AM (GMT)
I'm betting somewhere Framke Jansen has the sudden and unexplainable urge to slap someone, very hard.
