I'm bored, so I've decided to start a new topic.
How do you all think the coming INFINITE CRISIS uber-storyline is going to be for DC? This story is supposed to go from this year and well into the next, and supposed to change the DCU forever.
They said the same thing about IDENTITY CRISIS, and frankly many of us were very disapointed. Not only with the anti-climatic ending, but the blatant disregard for the concept of what it takes to write a good mystery story.
So do you think this coming Crisis will be something worth the time or something that we'll all be disapointed in?

They might actually be right about it changing the dcu. Have you seen their pge lately? They've even changed their logo. They've had that logo forever. It seems like their trying to streamline, and that would likely invovle cleaning their closets on some of their titles.

Well i didnt really read Identity Crisis, although I should be getting the collection of it soon enough. And i've got Project OMAC on reserve and plan on reading the others. So if i'm gonna sink that much cash into it better damn well be worth it.

Pretty much the same with me. Only know what happened on IC because of the reviews, actually am going to try to keep up with this crossover. So if it sucks someone's getting blown up and it won't be me. :D

Honestly, I was very impressed by Countdown. I am looking forward to Infinite Crisis; I expect it to be pretty good.
And, for the record, I was impressed with Identity Crisis. I just felt that the ending was a bit weak.

Which of the four miniseries do you all think will be the best? In otherwords which one should I spend my $$ on? I won't lie. I'm really intrigued by the Villains United Preview, but which one are you all leaning towards?

The OMAC project is the only one that's got my attention. Its got mystery and betrayal and it also explains more about what happened in COUNTDOWN TO INFINITY CRISIS. And it goes more into the mistrust taht exists between the heroes of DC.

Dude, "VU" has Gail Simone writting so is worth ur money, trust me. "OMAC" is cool too. I'll be buying "Day of Vengeance" because it has Cap Marvel and Rann/Thanagar because Ivan Reis is the penciller. But the first two I mentioned are definitely the best, IMHO.

Hrm. Well, they ****** *** Blue Beetle. Which I think completely sucks. True, it really made Booster Gold grow up quite a bit. But WHY do the writers think that ******* *** characters, is good character development?

You could set up a charity... the once-a-week comic trust fund... People could donate you money.
