What the hell is going on? I leave for a week and come back to find new names all over? You guys confuse the HELL out of me very efficiently.

Just a request if possible, could you say "Formally *insert name*" in your sig so it's easy to distingush who you are? Just a thought. Not sure how many name changes have been made, but yeah.... With new sigs and such flying around, it's makes it even MORE difficult to place who is who. *nearly yelled at Forte because she didn't know it was him*

A few people asked me to change their names.. no problem with me, so I did it, it's something the admin CP could always do, no new feature, the gender thing is new though.

To note:

Flame Phoenix > Strike Wolf
Forte > Legato > Flake > Hetman(whole history or names)
Perrin > Callis(I like that better)

That's all I can remember right now.

I knew Admin CPs had the ability to change names, I just saw 3 new names and thought someone made it so the member could change their own names. Could you imagine how many names Forte would have now if that was possible?? hehehe.. Ah well... I know I am sticking with my name. :D Lycan

Also.. I don't think it's possible to allow people to change their own names on Invision. I wouldn't allow it anyway, too confusing, and I know. I was once art of a board, Vbulletin I think, where you could change your display name freely, I became known for changing my name every week, but I kept one part of it the same to show who I was. Here on ZE, I just change my Avatar, lol.

Yeah, Fire Phoenix and Jet Falcon are the hot flyers.. It's funny, I like FP more than JF, but I like LZF more than LZP. I'm actually planning on designing an original custom zoid that is fully compatible with Fire Phoenix and matches, I'm thinking of a Tiger type zoid.. right now it's undecided.

What is wrong with switching names, or is there nothing wrong with that?

Hmmm? And do you have a problem with that? Times change, stuff change. Actually, I switched back to my original name before Forte, Legato or Flake.

Forte was a nickname given to me to an old friend, as a sense of reputation sort of thing for kicking his ass, but that was ages ago. Legato and Flake, they just sounded cool at the time and they still do.

I really gotta watch before I bite people's heads off. A sorta thing that I sometimes do. ^__^

Proboards let you change your name I think, or it was probably just for mods.. Apposed to here, which only lets admins change names.
I'd consider changing my name, had this one for years though..

We were curious as to if there was anything said on how often a user could change their name. I do remember something being said once, but I cannot remember where. It's an issues of avoiding confusement over "Wait? Who were you?" type things. Which is what this topic originally addresses anyways.

I do not believe there are any official rules on name changing, so long as it's not often enough to annoy the admins, hmm... Though I do like the idea of putting something in your sig of who you used to be until people get used to the new name.

I'm changed my names numerous times also. First (the very first) was KonigLightningFang(long ._.) Then FS, then Elven Green Leaf, then Allie-Wolfen then back to FS, thinking bout changin it to Rainshadow, hmmmm.

Make sure you poke KW to change it if you want to do that. No name chenge otherwise.
