Title: Favourite system?...
Steve - October 30, 2004 12:15 AM (GMT)
...Just outta curiosity... what's your favourite system?
Being a Nintendo loyalist, GC is my preferred system. All my friends are X-Box whores, though, and they make fun of me for it. <_<

Nintendo...
Despite the fact that Nintendo has become a money hording company of somewhat failing game producers...I'm still a loyal fan boy...
...Who's starting to conserve his money more.

The PC is probably my fav. system, and most likely always will. But I also do own an Xbox, and it's proved good so far, played on a number of PS2s as well, and the gamepad/control-pad on the Xbox is much nicer to hold and use than the PS styled ones.

Super Nintendo. Come'on people... it had many great games on it. Still have mine, it works like brand new too. Got alot of games for it as well. Even many hard to find and foreign ones.

*waves around "I'm a Nintendo fanboy" sign*
Gamecube....I WANT THE NEXT ZELDA!!!!!!

The first Nintendo system was my favorite. But now it's N-64, no arguement. Since the games for gamecube are limited and most suck in my general opinion, and Xbox is equally annoying and such, I picked PS2. But, note that I like N-64 ALOT more than all other systems. Banjo-Kazooie is one of my all time favorite games. Lycan

Yay, I have none of the listed systesm. -_-; So of course I voted for other. I'd say for me it's a toss up between Gameboy and PSX(or PS1, e_e).
Gameboy, well, Gameboy is Gameboy. It's been a popular system for years. Especially with the GBA being backwards compatible, I really hope to get a GBA SP this holiday season and get a few games like the rerelease of Super Mario World (whichever number, I forget). I really can't believe you didn't list Gameboy. o__o
I also still love my PSX, as it has a few of my favorite games, and I enjoy revisiting them. (Plus my GB game gallery isn't that great.) I suppose I could choose PS2 since it's backwards compatible, but I don't have one. XD

GC has ZBL and Tales of Symphonia...And I can play quite literally every Zelda game ever on my GC once I pick up the adaptor....So GC wins....N64 is cool too though....Banjo-Kazooie is quite awesome, though I'm more partial to Super Mario 64...s

PC for sure. Ever since I got two ueber PCs, I've been gaming mostly on them. I tend to like the games for the PC better as well.
But out of the three consoles listed, I say GC... followed by PS2, then X-Box. I like all three, but GC has Resident Evil/Pikmin/Metroid/Zelda/Zoids so I go with that. PS2 has Final Fantasy/Armored Core/Silent Hill/everygundamgame... X-Box has Halo 2 (though I hate the X-Box controls for FPS)/Ninga Gaiden/Silent Hill/Steel Battalion/Mech Assault.

PS2 because of Final Fantasy, Blood will Tell(yes the game where you got to find your body parts) and games with lost of big mechs.

I'm not much of a gamer.. The only games I play are Halo on Xbox, and Gunbound and Ragnarok on PC. I like PC more, multiplayer over the internet is the only real thing I'm fond of though, that and using the mouse and keyboard for FPS's.
Planning on getting a GC soon though, once battle legends is released in Australia. Have a feeling it won't be released though..

WOOT! PS2 all the way baby! I liked the 64 Alot as well. Had many games that I really liked. Banjo-Kazooie was one of them. I liked the little Mumbo witch docter... he was funny. I only have an X-Box and GC for the game not on PX2.

Super Mario was good. And yeah, GC WOULD get my vote, especially since GBA has all the old Mario games and you can play them on the Cube, but Ace Combat 4 and the new one 5 are my FAV games as far as advanced graphics go.
I'm gunna buy a Game Cube once I get another job, complete with adapter. Lycan

GCN. Why? Well...
Metroid Prime
Legend of Zelda the Windwaker
Zoids Battle Legends/Versus II
Paper Mario the Thousand Year Door
Tales of Symphonia
Animal Crossing
Super Smash Bros. Melee
Skies of Arcadia Legends
Super Mario Sunshine (It was overshadowed by SM64, but is still good)
Plus, there's also the future to look at,
Metroid Prime 2: Echoes
Legend of Zelda (Tentative Title)
Baten Kaitos (Do NOT diss it because it uses cards...)
Plus, then there's Nintendo's future to look at in general. Yes, I'm looking at you, my precious DS-which-I-won't-be-able-to-get-until-Christmas-and-would-be-really-mad-if-my-Mom-doesn't-get.
Yes, I know that had nothing to do with the GCN.
