Actually... that is what they say in the game. It was translated from Japanese and edited so it would make sense to people who speak English. In other words... they are saying exactly what they did in the PAL version.

Both were a major part of their culture in the past. It makes sense that they have a more lenient view on the 2 subjects. Now, thats not to say they don't have a limit at which they say "enough". I was watching my roommate play Arc the Lad 2 yesterday and she got to some boss battle and Elk said something like, "Let's show this metal b*tch who's boss!" I went, "Whoa!" Games aren't always as innocent as they seem. XD

Personally I like Star Ocean 2 where in one city on Nede, you can have Claude run into this door and he'll walk out blushing to say, "It was the ladies bathroom."

Of course it isn't direct translation. Some of it wouldn't make sense, dude to things seen in only in the culture of japan. It was edited to make sense to us, with a 99% accuracy rating for what they are saying being what they meant in japanese.
