Kirby, you'll be better off converting them to .jpg rather than keeping them as .bmp...it takes a very long time to load them when they're .bmp.

Though they are cool-looking, they lack the flashy backgrounds @_X

Pff.. flashey backgrounds.. the best images are those with transparent bgs.. (no background at all.) Hence why mine is so droll...

Agreed, but a combination of the two is the best in my opinion. Flashy backgrounds doesn't neccessary means that you will have a 'good' graphic as a result. Sometimes, plain backgrounds is usually the best depending on the situation.
