Title: PM predicament...
Steve - November 25, 2004 01:14 AM (GMT)
Yeah... my PM box is getting kinda full... it's about 55% full... the thing is, though, I wanna keep my PMs... I don't want to delete them. *Is posessive, clings to them* I don't wanna throw them out, but I don't like having a cluttered inbox either... is there any way that I can clean out my PM box without deleting my PMs?

I would suggest saving them on a .txt file (Notepad). It doesn't take up much space, and it allows you to keep them all, while at the same time cleaning up your inbox...that's what I used to do. I stopped after I had 4MB's worth of PMs I never read...

The board will back them up and send them to you as an HTML file...poke at the settings.

The administrators can change the amount of PMs stored in your inbox too, but it depends on their decision though.
Edit: Spelling

Hmm, well I actually kinda found a bug. I have no PM in my Inbox and it's -2% full :)
What you do is open up your Inbox in multiple windows and select one PM to delete in all of the windows. Then, just delete them in each window.... Eventually, you'll get down to a low figure.... I found it by accident though.

You have too much free time my friend.... too much....

Finding a glitch doesn't neccessarily mean he has alot of free time. Some people like to experiment ... other than that, your post and my post wasn't neccessary either. Just pointing a thing out for you. :)

Tone is lost through text, especially sarcasm.

I don't have too much free time you know. It was discovered by accident, and I didn't keep on repeatingi t. I only did it until my inbox was -2% when I had nothing at all lol.

Cool, but the thing is really does it actualy work? I mean sure you found a glitch and it now shows a -2% but do you actualy get that 2% extra space?
Blade - January 7, 2005 12:40 AM (GMT)
Yes, it really does work (currently at -10% due to another accident when I hit "delete" twice after selecting 5 PM).
