Title: A Multi Video Game Clan
Description: Join Today!

Nightmare - November 25, 2004 06:06 PM (GMT)
Well, if enough people sigh up we could get a zoidsevolution clan started!!! If enough people would like to join, we could get a website going. Now I don't know HTML that well, so someone else would have to handle it. Anyhow, just post your xbox name or screen name and the game its for to join the clan. I'm think of puttting ZE in front of your name to notify that your part of the clan. That can change though on what people like...

So far:

Xbox

(No one so far)

Call of Duty

*creates a barn fire of burning Microsoft CPUs*

<_< You get what I'm trying to say?

Nightmare - November 26, 2004 05:25 AM (GMT)
No, sorry...

VegaObscuraTheKing - November 26, 2004 07:07 PM (GMT)
'seems like we gotta mac-lover on our hand! You go get the dogs, I'll get the rope! We'll chasem down!

*smirks* no no, I will not harm you. You, obviously, have something with Microsoft, and I'll let that go...just...no barn fires...because of the trees. You mess with the trees...and I take you down.

I'd join a clan any other day, but no thanks, I play for fun. (Although both me and my dad are quite exceptional at CoD)

Nightmare - November 26, 2004 08:22 PM (GMT)
I can understand mac lovers, anyhow, its not like one of those clan's that are opsesive and have thier own server, its just for fun. Thats what video games are about, having fun.

VegaObscuraTheKing - November 27, 2004 05:37 AM (GMT)
Understand, though, that MACs are not gaming systems...and thusly, have few games in the scheme things. No Call of Duty, no Half Life 2, no Doom 3---they got Halo...in the beginning of the year.

So, no, Macs are not gaming pcs...and...xbox---is made by microsoft. So microsoft haters wouldn't have that...or a gaming pc...so....yeh

Nightmare - November 27, 2004 11:02 PM (GMT)
I would think more people would like to join, oh well.

true they don't

errrr for my games list goto www.zerohazard.net/games.html as for playing online maybe, i prefer to play operation flashpoint online thats about it

Nightmare - November 30, 2004 01:20 AM (GMT)
This didn't work out as I planned... I was hoping that the people with Xbox Live *cough you know who you are* would join... Just a thought though...

VegaObscuraTheKing - December 2, 2004 03:37 AM (GMT)
Half Life 2 Deathmatch came out...sooooo....dont expect to see me...for a while...

True. There're um made by *racks memory* aww I forgot. And plus CPUs don't burn very well I think, they overheat (One day those power wasting people who keep their computers on 24/7 will find their computer on fire) yea I have a Mac fan before he finaly got a Windows PC because of all the games he couldn't play he begged me to find a Ragnarok emulator for Mac.

Intel makes the CPU for the XBOX. Bad choice, since AMD makes far better CPU's for the money but that's a whole different flamewar XD

For the Money. But INTEL kicks ass even though it's 64 bit processors aren't taking off.

But I think IBM is making the next, oh wait that was for PS3.

FLAMEWAR YAY! Competition good!

Nightmare - December 14, 2004 03:19 AM (GMT)
I take it no one has intentions of joining the clan?

Er..um...incaseyehdidntnotice. Xbox 2 ("Next") CPUs are being made by IBM. PS3 CPUs might be made by IBM. Xbox 2 ("Next") video cards are being made by ATI (woot woot). PS3 video cards are being made by Nvidia (eh--).

Both will be powerhouses who will beat each other to the ground.

...but did I mention that there is a possibility that the Xbox 2 might have 3 CPUs?
And did I mention the possibility that 3 versions will come out? XboxPC, Xbox 2 ("Next") Lite (NO HARDDRIVE), and Xbox 2 ("Next") (Harddrive).

The possiblity is not very likely, wait let me think *1 second pause* nope not likely. Microsoft for starters is already losing money on every Xbox it sells (Lose money? How can it, it's selling a cheap processor 233hz, I think, and some measly hard drive, bleah), so selling 3 CPUs would make Microsoft bankrupt, well maybe not considering all the money it's hoarding.

The 3 verisons actualy makes sense in a way, I mean Xboxs are mini-pcs already, but no hardrive? That could mean rewriting games to accomate that....

And well I'm a Nvidia (YAY) (Yup my video card's made by em') and Vega is well obviously well a ATI (blah, I used bleah today already).

*cough* ATIismanystepsaheadofnvidiarightnow... *cough*

Actually, the tri-processor is very possible. A diagram "from microsoft" appeared on some German site and caught the recognition of many people...I think it mighta been...taken offline afterwards *thereyehgo*

But hell...I can believe it.

And they don't have a 233...its more like an 800 or so with an 8gb harddrive (i had one of those in me old pc...now i have 160...but thats beyond the point)

You guys play Halo with your clan? Whats your rating?

ZeRoRaVeN - December 21, 2004 11:55 PM (GMT)
Depends, are you talking about processor partioning (err um there's a nice big word for that but I forgot it so I'll use partion which is simlar enough) or actual multi-processor processing, there're very much differnt things.

ATI isn't THAT much ahead.

OoOoO sharing secret insider microsoft design plans? OoO (blackmarket shopping), let's see I want hmm I'll take Longhorn's source code, xbox designs, um let's see Office 2003 source code, hmm Windows XP too can't forget that, wouldn't that all be great?

So I presume you have one of these "secret diagrams", I bet microsoft used their secret undercover squad and took em' out. Sorry, heheh I read a joke about that, some person from microsoft escaped and then microsoft's hit team grabbed him back and explained to people that he was still "in development" it was funny.

Multi-processor processing doesn't make sense it's too expensive, now if xbox had a 64-bit processor which should be a avaible option on future verison that would be sweet.

Thats what the SNK and Street fighter guys do..they meet and share info..

Uh...how bout no.

How about the diagram (a damn picture put on some german gaming website--nt like I made the damn thing up, dude) looked pretty legit, albiet leaked. I don't know if it was real, as I said, but it looked do-able (thusly legit) and pretty probable.

The tri-processor wouldn't be too expensive, actually. It's not like their buying Intel Chipsets and tossing them in there. They're having IBM-made chipsets (for God knows how much less) that have however much of what (speed wise) they want in them.

And ATI is ahead, nonetheless.

And I do have a Longhorn release, though the source codes might be harder to come by...I will have to look for that.

BTW, this was posted 2/01/04--

"• Three IBM-designed 64-bit microprocessors. The combined power of these chips means the Xbox Next will have more computing power than most personal computers. Earlier versions of these PowerPC chips are used in Apple Computer's high-end G5 PowerMac machines now.

• A graphics chip designed by ATI Technologies with speeds much faster than its upcoming R400 chip for the personal computer. This chip will help the next Xbox to display games with the resolution of high-definition TV.

• Compatibility with the original Xbox, which is based on Intel and Nvidia chips, isn't guaranteed. Microsoft is concerned it would cost too much money in hardware or in licensing fees to enable the Xbox Next to play old Xbox games. This is risky in part because Sony's strategy has been to maintain compatibility with its old consoles."

You read correctly 3 64-bit microprocessors. Booyeh!

http://home.btconnect.com/hgi/xbox2/xsys.html

That is the diagram of which I speak...and yes, it may have very well been an MS Paint product, but damn it looks doable.

ZeRoRaVeN - December 23, 2004 04:30 AM (GMT)
You don't really know, now had you should've said that ealier but noneless I believe they may be talking about 3 DIFFERNT KINDS of chips, It didn't say specifly 3 chips. Yes becuase threre're gonna be engineered by IBM and bought en-masse they will cost really cheap. Always more for the brand name, but the performance may suffer as a result.

Ah *sees diagram* it looks a bit outdated though, but it does look a bit authentic but why would Microsoft make this public data?

But three 3.5 GHz CPUs, no can't be. Intel hasn't even researched that far, of course Intel announced it would drop reasearching higher speeds at I think 3.2 Ghz or so. But IBM has that technology? No can't be, it can't be real. I think multi-core processing is the future, it seems to be a better path (I think that's what it's called). Multiple physical CPUs have been around for awhile since NT 4.0, that's not THAT long but enough that it could have become mature technology by now.

QUOTE(May 7,2004)

Intel confirmed Friday that it's scrapping development of Tejas, its next-generation chip, and will accelerate development of dual-core processors for use across its server, desktop, and mobile platforms next year.

Intel told its employees and customers that it will reassign resources from Tejas, the follow-up to its current Prescott version of its mainline Pentium 4 processor line, and concentrate instead on moving up the introduction of dual-core designs about 12 to 18 months from its original plans.

CODENAME: Tejas...

Terminated...

Goodbye...

Yes I'm very stuborn, but I think if that's how Microsoft is really headed it's going the wrong way.

Besides if Physical Hard Drives were paritioned why can't processors be too? More effcient processing, (along with Intel's Hyper-Thread Tech) you could run Adobe Photoshop on a virtual core and it would run as fast as *insert choice word*.

What does Tejas have to do with anything?

Well, its from earlier in the year so.....yeh...a bit outdated, but not by much. And it wasn't released---it was..."gotten". By what means I really don't care, but look at it this way. If some German could steal the HL2 source code and beta-game, then someone could get this little diagram.

Three 3.5's are possible by just overclocking 3.4s or 3.2s even. (And yes, there is a Pentium 4 3.4GHz Extreme Edition with Hyper Threading).

So...uh...*looks at above* where was your arguement in anything, laddie? With 3 IBM microprocessors (not necessarily cheap-ass knockoffs, dude), its gonna be a fast f*cker.

I'll make a clan for ZE if I can for Halo.

When I get Halo.

Shouldn't you um like get Halo, play it for a year in which you become experienced and good and then make a clan in which by then very knowlagable in Halo.
