Let me make my position clear...2 ended on a cliffhanger, and 3 is a prequel. That was mean. XD

Anyways, Hideo announced that he no longer wishes to direct after 3. Do you think that means that's the last Metal Gear? Do you think Konami will continue it, and he'll work on the staff but not have that director position this time?

I for one, think so. I don't think Konami wants to abandon one of their most popular series now, especially on such a cliffhanger. I believe they'll let us find out what happened with Raiden and Rose, Snake and Otacon's search, Arsenal Gear, the Patriots, Ocelot, and all the other loose ends that are yet to be tied up.

well we know that the Philositers made the Patriots. So it's about them really.

It's already been announced...there will be a MGS 4. It will probably come out in either 2005 or 2006 (not sure...probably the latter)

I think that's good guess Vega, I hope it's like MGS3 (no radar, it made things to easy) and eating and treating wounds.

I'm thinking clones are going to be in this one more.

Hideo said that he would produce the next MGS, but not direct it, he'd leave his younger crew to helm it in his stead. He, however, thinks of MGS as a completed trilogy...which can be argued seeing MGS 2's ending "What the hell..."
