Yeah.... I have to pick between Warcraft III & Diablo II.

I have played Warcraft before and I like the game, but I have never played Diablo II before. That's the main reason I'm asking for you all's opinions.

I voted Diablo II, but I'd actually advise buying the Diablo battle chest. Diablo is awesome, and doesn't require as much from your comp.

How do you get items in Diablo? A friend of mine told me that you get items by killing, but do you also have a chance to earn them by performing tasks like cutting wood and mining & stuff?

IF there's cutting wood & mining, I never got around to doing it...I just killed...I need to get my own copy of the game...*eyes Kazaa* To pirate or not to pirate....

Hmm ... I like more strategy like mining, smithing, woodcutting, etc. than just killing tihngs to get items. If such a thing exists in Diablo, then I may be interested.

Diablo II isn't an RTS game like Warcraft 3, it's an RPG. You buy, kill things, and gain levels and abilities in Diablo II. In Warcraft 3, you build men and stuff by harvesting resources and then you fight with them.

I hate the blocky looking style of Warcraft 3, so I recommend Diablo II with the Lord of Destruction Expansion Pack.

World of Warcraft! Diablo is dying, War 3 might stay alive but i can't be sure, and Zoids... Well, there not very interactive.

You want to get... Eve-Online!

There's a 14-day trial which you can get from... here. Bare in mind you need to get the latest version of the game from the Eve-Online site, around 450mb. Or.. you could go to Amazon or game store to buy Eve-Online and a 30-day time which comes with it.

Still very good, very fun game, and, I would love to destroy you with my Kestrel, which, may I add, is packed full of missiles and missile launchers. :P

Heh, Diablo is an RPG...I didn't know that. I was more lenient towards Warcraft anyways since I liked it in the first 30 mins I played it lol.

Well if you haven't figured, I like RTS more than RPG...especially those who know I play Runescapefor hours....

Didn't even mention me... WoW was a good choice, but Diablo isn't realy a good RPG, sure it's a RPG but WoW is a MOMRPG (massive online role playing game) it has a variety of servers and i barly get lag even with my low amount of RAM. But you prolly have to buy a grafics card, but Blade somone told me you ahve a job so it shouldn't be too hard to afford. I bought a Geforce4 4000 easilly.

Diablo 2 is extremely old. It was okay when it was released.. but don't get it now. Too much cheating and hacking, too.

Plus, Warcraft 3 owns. Get Warcraft 3 battle chest, you want The Frozen Throne too. Like $15 for the whole set. Now..

With Warcraft 3 you can play online with me! and I can teach you how to play and own people at it. There are few people I cannot teach you how to own if you have basic micro and good logical thinking skills.

btw, Diablo II is VERY old, you can easily download it off of WinNY if you want it that badly...

and i got bored of Runescape long ago...I didn't think anyone would still play it....All I ever did was make Adamantium weapons and sold them to n00bs for everything they owned...
