Title: Avatar Sizes?
Sir Maverick - December 22, 2004 12:41 PM (GMT)
Any chance we can have avatar size limits upped to 120 x 120? They're already at 100 x 120, but I want to stick in SD Zoids for my avatar, and they're 120 x 120. Problem is, me and imaging programs don't get along, so I can't resize, and the board's autoresizing makes it look kinda silly.
Thanks.

Personally I see no reason to not do this. It is possible, yes, and since this is InvisionFree, we don't have to worry about bandwidth problems....

Ok.. I'll do that... no big deal, go on now.

Actually, we are indeed allocated certain bandwith amounts on IF accounts. I think it is something like 1 GB bandwith...

Thanks!! Now my poor HammerHead doesn't look squished.
I still want an SD Liger Zero Falcon though...

6. What limits exist on the free service?... We provide 16MB of space for uploaded files. You can purchase more space if you need it. You must agree to our Terms of Service. We do not limit the bandwidth (data transfer) of your forum. In addition we do not impose a limit on the number of posts, topics, or members your free forum has.

Uploads are 16 MB (dang that's small!), but hey,I was right about the bandwidth :P

Should be 1 Gig of upload space if you ask me....

What possible, legal, use would 1 gig of upload space be good for? Really...
And btw Chaos, your sig is MASSIVE, there was a discussion and you must reduce the size of your sig. Follow Blade or Mav's example, their sigs are pretty much the max length you may have. I'd hate to say it, but if changes aren't made in a timely fashion, your sig will be deleted. :/ (or atleast modified.)
It was my oppinion that max sig length should not exceed the height of your personal data segment (on the left) with the edition of -2 returns as a post. If you'd like to test your sig size, do it in the spam forum. (negative two he says?) Yes, meaning your sig would start 2 lines above the top of your member info cell.

Hatch, that's confusing and I already set up a sig rule on the Board Rules. I put up what I originally proposed, because there was no furthur discussion. Check it out. According to that, you need to change your sig too.
Eh, this topic has served its purpose. Further discussion on sigs can be addressed in my rules announcement post.
