Title: Audio Converters

Hetman - January 7, 2005 03:32 AM (GMT)
Well, there is one particular audio file that I want to put on my MP3 player. Simple enough? Sure is. The problem is that its in OGG file format while my MP3 player only accepts MP3s, WMAs and WAVs. All I could do is play Winamp and thats about it...

Does anyone know any other audio converters out there (especially free ones) or mind anyone that they could convert the OGG to MP3 format (I do have the link though) or other suggestions?

P.S. My audio converter is "Creative Audio Converter". It doesn't like me much...
P.P.S. The OGG file is 'Lilium, Coteesh Mix' from Elfen Lied. Its pretty much 3 of the 4-5 versions of Lilium that you could listen while watching Elfen Lied. It rawks.

Its not the fastest program, but it is probably the most system/file compatability.
http://darkav.de.vu/

Its called HeadAC3he

You are also going to need the Vorbis (ogg) dll file (but try to convert it first, before dling other files).

I use dBPowerAMP.

Good program, pretty fast, and it has .flac, .shn, and other codecs (available for download).

Do you have a link, VOtK?

Thanks HaTcH, I'll start to unzip 'em tommorrow and check 'em out.

EDIT: I downloaded the program and the Vorbis and I can't select the .ogg that I wanted to be converted to a .mp3 file. It only selects .mp3, , .mpa, .mp2, .ac3 and .wav at the moment but there is a difference though. I can convert an selectable audio file to be converted as a .ogg file and thats about it.
