Over the past few days I've been writing a Hangman program and I want to finally release it. You can download the extractor from http://www.bearcreekfire.com/zoids3d/downloads/Hanger.exe (~80kb, Windows)

The questions file has 156 questions in it, but I believe the game can support up to roughly 32000... Fat chance that I'll make 32k questions, but w/e, 156 lasts for quite a while.

Check it out, Its pretty neat, and addicting.. My mom started playing and I had to peel her away. Heh.

Read the readme.txt file, also, if you want to ruin the game, you can read the questions.txt file but thats no fun.

Haha! I played it, kinda fun, but I know very little about beatles, so meh (yes it's not all about beatles).

Enters Critic mode:(it's my job to critize friends and people as much as I can!)

-The questions are kinda smallish, I didn't see them until after awhile.
-I screw up so often that clicking the Go button pisses me off
-Make a nice shiny button to press to restart with a different question (I didn't know most of them!)
-Add a nice option in the menu to add question packs, like say you can import your own or more that other people and you make, that way you don't have to redownload the whole program for new questions and you can make your own
-You seriously have to stop and start drinking pepsi (it's even your AIM icon, and to answer a question ahead for you, yes I like the Geno series enough to use it in my AIM)

There isnt much I can do about that except maybe make it bold... I could try and change the font size, but I dont want it to be too distracting.

Hmm... Well you do know you can press "Enter" and also use the keyboard for this right?

Well the questions.txt file is just plain text, you can surely add new questions to it, but then if you know em what good is it? (I've just created a new questions file, like 25 more and I got rid of some really hard ones, its attached to this post, supposing a 7KB FILE IS NOT TOO MUCH TO ASK...)

Sweet, hangman. I played 2 games a failed on both. I pick the dumest letter like x and z.

And the icon for it is even better (the guy who drinks pepsi now only for the free itunes song...but drinks double the amount of coke per day still---thats me.)

Eh, I installed and was told I had a missing file, but I got that with all of the H-soft downloads that I tried awhile ago. My computer mustn't like you.

We had to make a Hangman game in Qbasic the year before last. Do you know how hard it is to make a Hangman game in Qbasic?! Gah, drawing graphics is enough to give me a headache, and a game.. well.. that's just annoying.

You use Visual Basic?

The missing file may be due to an incomplete or faulty installation of VB run times. If you dl the file http://www.bearcreekfire.com/zoids3d/downl.../VBRun60sp3.exe It should fix any problems you have. Otherwise, its your comp and some problem..

Other than VB I can code in JAVA too. (We used to use QB to make these wierd fractal like images with loops and sin and cosine functions and stuff.. but anymore its just so we can run the command prompt via SHELL.
