Title: Fried eyeballs

Hetman - February 8, 2005 10:51 AM (GMT)
So, I was bored and I decided to add this into my signature and I thought it will be fun... for a while.

Be honest, and date back from your first sight of my flashy siggy. Did it or did it not? Yes, this does includes staring at it for a certain period of time.

Note: This is meant to be for FUN! :D

Oh yes, I'm sure that's what you meant. XD

But yeah, your sig did screw up my eyes. Reminds me of the original Sonic game, when he used to spin it gave some people Epileptic fits. Meep.

Typo in the question, by the way.

I play Final Fantasy. If those games don't kill your eyes (in a good way), then nothing will.

Tilly - February 8, 2005 12:30 PM (GMT)
I love rainbow-color changing things normally, but it's too fast. It's just eye-hurty. Make it a lot slower and it'd be cool.

ZeroFalcon - February 8, 2005 03:08 PM (GMT)
I'd like a new pair of eyeballs, please...

X__X <---- That's what my eyes look like right now!

Wolven Zero - February 8, 2005 04:36 PM (GMT)
Actually Forte, that is quite... well... a problem. I might have to suggest you remove it to a less-flashy one (none preferably) due to some members here possibly suffering from eliptic issues.

Sky Dragon - February 8, 2005 05:49 PM (GMT)
STEEL POSTED, OMFG!!!

jk.

But seriously...

My eyeballs were seared off...and yes, I did stare at it for a while trying to figure it out, before hiding in a fetal position in a dark corner of my room...then I made my new avie.

*glomps Rhyss*

zeroreborn - February 8, 2005 09:38 PM (GMT)
*gets laser correction surgery*

ZeRoRaVeN - February 8, 2005 11:13 PM (GMT)
*watery eyes*

yow.....it hurts....btw is that from azumanga daioh, I've read some, it's ok but not my taste.

SeraPhoenix - February 9, 2005 01:27 AM (GMT)
 I need new eyes! Preferably ones that allow me to see through walls, hypnotize people, and shoot lazer beams!

|8|)219 - February 9, 2005 02:44 AM (GMT)
Nothing...Just really annoying..

Hmmm.... I need to disable my signature more. :D

Accually... thats triggered by the lights changing in brightness at a fast pace. If the computer monitor is not changing it's brightnes, only that tiny sig, it won't cause any harm. So, technically, it's not harmful to anyone, only annoying...

Mirai-LD - February 9, 2005 07:25 AM (GMT)
Yes, me! It HURTS! ><

MrGuy - February 9, 2005 12:04 PM (GMT)
Yeah, it hurts my eyes... because it's Azumanga Daioh

Oh yeah... the blinky lights hurt as well :P

So... the photosensetive seizure warnings on videogame boxes and maunels are actually lying?

For example, on GBA game boxes-

"Warning! People who are photosensitive (have seizures induced by FLASHING LIGHTS or PATTERNS) should not play videogames without first seeing a doctor."
(note- certain words uppercased by me)

So, that label is unfounded? After all, Flake's sig isn't TOO much smaller than a GBA screen?

And, Flake, you actually have spared me either having to forever wear glasses and/or contacts or getting laser surgery due to my astigmatism(sp?). I'd just like new eyes, thank you.

ZeRoRaVeN - February 9, 2005 11:19 PM (GMT)
Be quiet all of you! I don't care whether it does absolutly no harm but get me pissed off, I want my new eyes! Otherwise I'll start a lawsuit....and I sue for money with 9 digit numbers.

I wish I could, but I can't find anything on Ebay.com :P

Or I could go to a slaughterhouse and fetch an eye or twoo...

Momonga - February 10, 2005 06:32 AM (GMT)
EEEEYYYYYYYEEEEEEEE BBBBBBBBBBAAAAAAAAAALLLLLSSSSSSSSSS! I NEED MORE EYE BALLS!!!. Wait... If I don't have eye's, does that mean I don't need to do my homework??? *Has a whole stack of over-due homework sitting in room* ... And It's only the second week back at school..

ZeroFalcon - February 10, 2005 05:55 PM (GMT)
I'll save you the trouble. *Plucks Forte's eyes from out of his sockets*

If the entire television screen is flashy as you blow up a building in a game, or do something that flashes lights fast on teh tv, you are staring at this tv, of which takes up at least 50% of your visual area. Thus, you can have a seizure. They are basically triggered by your pupils diolating and closing at a fast rate to react to the flashy of various amounts of light. An entire tv screen has more effect that a tiny box on a computer monitor.

Thats another reason why you shouldn't watch tv in the dark, it wears down the muscles which control your pupils. It causes your vision to get worse over years.
