If a year of mod-ship is worthy announcing, I think this is too!

Today Zoids Evolution Forums is at least two years old! I say this as the oldest registration I could find on the original proboards is February 18, 2003.

So Happy 2nd Anniversary to the forums! We stuck it out through quite a bit I would say!

I'll have been here for two years come the 23rd. x_o I can't believe it... This place may yet rival the lifespan of the first online community I was involved in. That would be fun! =D

That...kinda looks like Trigun (one of the flashback scenes), but it can't be...can it? Knives had a different look than Vash did...and those two seem to be twins.

If it is Trigun, however, I must'a missed that one.

XD I'll have to go back and check for that episode. I thought Knives always looked a little---different than Vash---even before the haircut. He looked more...cynical...delusional....crazy.

Man... two years... ZE's been around for a while now... and I've been around for that entire run, (minus the first five months.) ...Damn.


...I can't imagine my life without ZE... it's become a part of me, almost... and ZE will stay around, as long as there are people around to support it and as long as Zoids still exist.

Even if ZE does kick the bucket one day, I know I'll be here until the very end. :)

...But nobody better delete it when it dies! It must stay up, like the old school ZE did, so people can go back and read it!

Hmmm I hope the Genesis thing goes though, I don't know about you but some people (based on real life known friends) have lost interest in Zoids, and well scummbed to other things....*sigh* too bad....it seems alot of Zoids sites went bye bye too....anybody remember the person who made those raven dollies? I loved them, but at the time I wasn't sensible enough to download them, anyone have them? Actualy I think the site resurfaced under brinskter but it doesn't have the dollies anymore...I even emailed that person...no response...

Yeah, I remember Dark Zoids, and Channel Zi. Channel Zi especially was a good one, but people kept stealing his stuff. -_- Have they no shame!?

I have to say that I'm rather attached to ZE, but mostly because I've gotten to know a good number of the members here, and any friends are important to me. =3

Never heard of those dollies...

Channel Zi went down, but I forgot what site, but it was one of the major zoids sites, said that it went down when his server died and then he DIDN'T BACK UP so he was in trouble, and even now it's still down. But you can see parts of it at archive.org's wayback machine...which is very cool. *sigh* I remember Channel Zi...but he never did update often, you'd think it was dead....Zoids Unoffical too, but I've talked with the webmaster and he still goes online...except he's a RK (rurouni kenshin) fan now.

Well I guess we'll have to wait for Jammer to die before anyone can get a chance at the head-admin spot (JK!).

He could have put a lot of it back up, but didn't...he was sick of the whole thing, especially people direct-linking to his stuff.

Well DT would tell you that problem is EASILY fixed. Theres this thing called .htaccess and it basically tells the server to tell the user, if you didn't view my website, you can't have any of my files. But ohh well. Thats how free hosts prevent bandwidth stealing as well.

He did that. People kept linking to stuff anyway...and you know how with Geocities you can copy-paste and whatnot.

I think it was more the principle of the thing anyway. People showing a lack of respect and getting annoyed with that...

I guess it's a little... Blasphamistic?... for me to be posting here... since I've moved to ZGC and haven't posted in here in a while at all...

Well anyway... Happy Aniversary... I shall probably post here for the rest of the day and then go on another insanely long hiatus... enjoy my presence while it lasts :D
