My definition of a drug is something that alters your physical (or mental) state. Alcohol... what would you call getting drunk? I'd say thats changing your state alright. So thats why I said yes to the question.

Caffiene is a drug too.. as am matter of fact enough of it can kill. (but that'll never stop me from drinking Coca Cola)

Someone once told me that anything could be a drug if you think about it.. J'ever hear the expression "too much of a good thing is a bad thing"

I also realised that my post has no real point, so to make it worthwhile, I'll just simply say "Never do drugs, get high on life!" (and no, I am NOT a hypocrite)

I'm addicted to caffine, but I don't see it as bad a drug as alcohol or other narcotics.. and this relates to the topic, it's about drugs and such.

Alcohol is a drug when its consumed though as it slows down your central nervous system, but HaTcH covered what I was going to say. Its just what you think a drug is. Drugs can be helpful or harmful, depends how you use it and it is used throughout society, sometimes without noticing it. Doctors give heroine to patients if they are suffering from depression and knew that weren't going to live for long (True fact!). If you abuse it in excessive amounts, of course it is bad. Panadol can also alter your physical performance (Another true fact!).

Believe it or not, tea is also a drug.
