Source isn't that great in my opinion...it's like Adobe 7.0 and CS/8.0...there's no difference between the new and the old...bleah..

Source is ok, personaly I think it was made a bit more realistic, the gameplay feels different from CS and CZ, it however is (from last I looked) the #1 steam game in users, and servers. It lost some of the CS-ness somewhere....however it is based on the HL2 engine and is supposed to be better....

I'm irrated that somehow, some well known game sites, like gamespy.com gave Halo 2 the #1 spot and put HL2 second. All the people I've talked to thought HL2 was better than Halo 2. I think if there was only one reason HL2 was better than Halo 2 it'd be the ability to make mods for it. I mean that's how CS was born no? And besides most of the mods are free...hmm gotta get around playing Half Life 2:Capture the Flag...now where to find it...

The creators of HL2: Capture the Flag challenged some Valve programmers to a game on it (it was in the steams news some time ago) it was a tie...

bleah....Steam only has CS Source as it's top because so many people had high expecations of it...now a lot of them are dissappointed..

and it's increased realistic-ness is what killed it....if you want reality, then that's what real life is for...grab your paintball rifle and pick off headshots from your bedroom window...that should be real enough for you...

and website ratings ALWAYs suck...look at IGN...find a more reliable source like something run by actual gamers...perhaps Electronics Gaming Monthly (the only gaming magazine I trust...Gamepro has given out some of the dumbest ratings I've ever seen...blah...look at their rating for MK Deception and Fight Club....those two totally blew...) 1up.com, or a gaming forum (NOT IGN or GameFAQs though...those two are only good for making yourself look better than the massive hoard of n00bs there...)...

^the only prob with your paintball gun idea is that it can be counted as assult and then the cops show up and they take you out with a beanbag gun while you shoot at em.

not neccessarily...legally, you could discharge your paintball gun at someone if they were to "tresspass" on your property and then claim it was self defense...not many people are aware of that though so yeah...plus no one does that anyways...
