The forums have definately slowed quite a bit lately, and people aren't posting as much, including me. The shout-box didn't get much response, Hatch is up for coding it, but we need a host with php.

Trowa, Raven, Koji, Seph (was gone for a while so he counts.), and DS ("ditto"), that's a grand total of 5 really old members returning from what I remember. Next to you know we'll be getting surprise visits from DARK LIGER ZERO PHOENIX, Prettz, and geno breaker. Oh noez!!! :P :P :P

Something having to do harassing another member to go on a date with him even though it was over the net.... it was attempt to piss her as well as ZeroX off. Errr, things got REALLY ugly based on the nasty comments he made about her and other members as a result of being rejected and finally, he was banned.

Hey, I find funnier crap around me all the time. The last time I remember there being a flame war here was when this one n00b named CyberForte complained because his Forte.exe avatar and sprite infested EXE sig got low ratings in the Avatar/Sig Rating thread. I knew him before on a Rockman forum, where he was also banned and apparently he didn't let the aspect of being hated on another forum so he started making really pathetic threats against the members of the board....

And on another board I go to, there was a member who claimed to be a guru and set the record of locked threads in one day....22. Who makes 22 threads in one day, and gets them all locked??? XD

that said given how cheap it is to have a host capable of running a forum even with large traffic.. well it is confusing why it's still on a free unmodable place.

They could put I recently saw in invisionfree news you can add domains to the board, zoidsevolution.com should have come with at least a few subdomains...

nono, its not down...its undergoing "renovation", its long past due the scheduled opening date, and finally put a link to the forums on the page but its supposed to now (the revised date I think) to open in the summer. Joy. But all that's needed to add a subdomain is have Jammer PM whoever has access to the ZE.com's cpanel or whatever web hosting thingy used and tell them to create a subdomain, (forum.zoidsevolution.com) then jammer just uses that domain manager thingy...sounds easy on paper...maybe in practice its harder...

I hope after being down so long ZE will look flashy and all..they said something about genesis torrents....can't wait...

Eh, well, there is a rumor that they'll be bringing back Zoids NC0 on Toonami, but bleh... There are always these type of rumors around, so I do not know. Also, Genesis is supposed to be coming along soon as well, so yeah.

They play Zoids CC/GF/CZ on SkyMix daily, and it seems to rotate on SkyOne between the most popular.

Right now something called Dragon Booster has taken it's place. It's alright I s'pose but not even close to as awesome as the original series.
Plan on recording them all to DVD from my Sky+ once I figure out how. :)

Not so easy to set things up the majority of the time, most especially if you only have access to cPanel. I'm quite sure that Duowolf (How could you foget her name!!??) is more than well capable of hosting the forums now, as I doubt they use the bandwidth they did at the time I was hosting the forums. (And yes, I did enjoy the skin changes quite a lot. Confused looks were priceless!).

man i've not used cPanel in like 4years, god aweful thing it is.

1&1 have done my hosting for the past 2years, they've got a very nice system, but unless you do the changes via SSH you have to wait like 3hours for the automated system to do it.

Still domains, and such are a doddle to setup.. so it's a good trade-off.
Anyways... i thought YOU were the girl Duero and Duo was the guy?

Are you calling me a hosting newb? I use Cpanel. I know her name is Duowolf, but it seems she's been ultra busy lately, so I hoped someone else would do it or nothing would get done.

Anyway I think it would be better to keep the forums here, first off if she did host the forums she would probably have to use another via another forum because invision board now costs quite a bit. Though 1.3 is free its not available anymore, though I have invision board 2.01 the trial (the unlimited one).

invision board 2.01 trial was hosted for a short amount of time right before they took it off, it was as the name says unlimted. It esstinaly says trial on the bottom, thats the only difference from the paid 2.01 version.

If the forums get hosted on ZE would that mean we can talk about things like bittorent and some stuff that we can't talk about here?

nah, it'd be more about the modifications that could be applied.

Nope. You still have to follow the Terms of Service nevertheless. But you CAN talk about Bittorrent anyways so I don't know what's the problem. You just can't post links to torrents of full episodes.
