I have a few questions to ask, please bear with me.

1. Can DivX player view .mkv type files perfectly?
2. Are there any other specific programs/codecs you need, to play/view .mkv files? (Your recommendations are appreciated. ^^)

http://filext.com/detaillist.php?extdetail=mkv&goButton=Go has some pretty good info. Click the MKV Windows PLayback link, perhaps there it will tell you whats up.

You need a seperate codec for .mkv files. I personally hate that file type. I find nothign wrong with hard subs. .ogm is much better if you want subs like that. Kind of weird that somebody encoded it like that though. Matrovaska is a lot less common these days.

The only site you'll ever need for anime codec problems.

I'm asking a friend of mine to download KGNE for me. The torrent I gave (from boxtorrents; sub group is KickAssAnime) contains mkv.files.

Thanks for the help. =)
