Title: Greetings

Solaris - July 30, 2005 12:39 AM (GMT)
I saw 'big entrance.' I had to.
I'm Solaris. A semi-self-proclaimed Emperor, I'm working on putting together a webring of RPGs in the very near future, and a zoids convention next summer.
Oh, and I'm a megalomaniac. Ain't y'all just the luckiest li'l things?

JammerLea - July 30, 2005 02:26 AM (GMT)
A Zoids convention? Now that sounds interesting. XD Welcome to the board! I'm Jammer, the resident O'Connell obsessor.

Solaris - July 30, 2005 04:40 AM (GMT)
Yes. As we have the plans now, it'll be a short and small two-day thing in Kentooky. My family (yes, I'm quickly moving into the category of 'spoiled rich brat') will be funding a lot of it, alongside my staffers and myself.

My friend welcomes you. His name is King Orange.

...be mean to him and I'll eat you like I ate those other newbs. *readies giant bowl of cereal and overlarge spoon*

JammerLea - July 30, 2005 05:07 PM (GMT)
Aw, Kentucky is too far away. Sounds interesting though. ^^

Solaris - July 30, 2005 06:16 PM (GMT)
Well, seeing as how you live in Michigan, there may be a way to make it work. Seeing as how I'm planning on picking up one of my members who lives in Chicagoland near me, then driving east to Detroit to pick up another coupla members before heading south to Kentooky, it wouldn't be too terribly difficult to manage.

JammerLea - July 30, 2005 07:09 PM (GMT)
I think I'd have to pass, since I probably wouldn't know anyone, I'm not very social IRL and that would be AWKWARD. But thanks for the offer.

Detroit! Whee~! I have family in Warren, but I'm on the other side of the state.

Solaris - July 30, 2005 07:19 PM (GMT)
My dad works in Warren. Proper Mold and Engineering.

Momonga - July 31, 2005 07:35 AM (GMT)
Hello~O! Welcome to the forums.. blah, blah, blah.. and eat cheese! mmm...

oo~o. A Zoids convention! I want to come! buuut.. I live in New Zealand, so it a bit of a hike (Unless you'd like to pay for my flight?)

HaTcH - July 31, 2005 03:47 PM (GMT)
Welcome Solaris, wait a sec, that name sounds familiar... isn't that a computer operating system? Well that goes to show you, I'm the computer guy on these forums.

If you are looking for a web ring, I wrote one myself here: http://www.bearcreekfire.com/zoids3d/zufl/ Too bad the members dont all put the web ring code up... Ahh well I'll tell them about it. If you would like to use the code, I'd be happy to give you a copy.

Warren.. hmm theres a Warren Pennsylvania, thats up near Erie. I picked up a motor cycle I bought off eBay up there a while back. Nice place. Bootjack hill is like 0_0! lol

Solaris - July 31, 2005 04:21 PM (GMT)
Yeah, and some horrible George Cluney movie. I assure you I am affiliated with neither.

The link isn't working, and I was thinking more along the lines of 'Empire of RPGs.' I've already put the forum page into the prototypal stage, and am working with the MC:CAN coding monkeys to figure on what the main site and index are going to look like.

HaTcH - July 31, 2005 04:51 PM (GMT)
oops, lol the URL is http://www.bearcreekfire.com/zoids3d/zuwr/
zufl was going to be the fanlist, but I changed it to just fanlist. So zufl is nothing.

Anyway, never let computer programmers try to make a site layout :P We can code em, but we (well, atleast me) don't seem to have a creative side, only a descriptive one.

Welcome.

And enjoy your stay.

And I'm a guy.
