We're trying something new. Anytime if you're online, invite yourself to a chat called "zoidsrevolution"

It's going to be the site chatroom. If you have AIM go to "People," "Chat," and then type in your own screen name for the people to invite. The name of the chatroom is zoidsrevolution. This will hopefully open up interaction between members a little bit more. You can just chat there, too. It doesn't have to be about the site. It's also a great way to think of new ideas for the site and such. More heads are better than one.

We already have an AIM chat at 'zoidsevolution', didn't quite work out.

Needless to say similiar stuff have been done before....but really whats the point...we talk to each other on the forum, and if we need to talk to someone via IM we can if their screename is listed in their profile.

Why are you calling it zoidsrevolution anyway, its evolution.

Nobody has died [erm well the staff at least] and made you head admin....go ahead and make it...not too many people will probably join but it won't be offical.

EDIT: btw Frost your image height exceeds the allowance stated in the rules by 25 pixels.

ZeRo: Take it easy man, he didn't know we already had a chat room. Theres no reason to just jump on other people's mistakes and attack them for it.

Also, please leave technical stuff to the mods. To be honest, his sig all together is quite small and has no text, I don't see anything wrong with that sig. The rules state an image height but 25 pixels isn't much. One line of text is around 25 pixels. My sig exceedes the max by 15 pixels, but its not WAY over.

I wasn't attacking, just saying why we don't need a chat room, and I explained why. Does that mean we can squeeze in extra pixels if we have no text? yay! None of the other mods/admin better say anything.

In any case I've seen forums with similiar stuff, like one I visit has flashchat, they have 7,003 users. How many people visit the flashchat? Nada, and you can tell because flashchat puts the names of the people in the chat room right under the people online.

*shrug* IM is too..well instant. Go forums.

I would say a few extra pixels to make your sig look good is ok, but excessive is bad. If you need a guide, a regular windows icon is 32 pixels high. I'd say don't go too far past that... But anyway, the way I see it is one's entire sig, not just individual images should be around 200 max pixels. Admin wanna back me up on this or is it a bunch of hokey?

Well, it worked out for the first week or so. At least on my time there were plenty of people there. Everyone just kind of stopped coming after that. If you guys want to start one up again, good luck ^_^

It was good while we had people going online, but after awhile there would be no one in there. I just stopped checking.
ZoidsRevolution was a suggested name to move the forums ages ago, and.. overthrow duero. Not really appropriate.

You know, I made a post saying that I WAS going to be anal about the height and width dimensions of signature images. But it seemed like I was the only one who tried implimenting it, and one person, I won't say who, didn't change their sig when I asked them to.

I'm still a bit peeved about that.

But whatever. Do as you will.

Indeed. The whole idea of overthrowing me because no-one liked the idea that the forums were free reign for anyone to spam on was ridiculous. Though, I have to say, I have far less headaches now...

This is going sour in a hurry.. Its gonna be a few more posts and it'll be flame out.

I have no desire to be a dictator. My desire is more for teamwork, I think that is the best. =3

Oh and yes, I had started a ZoidsEvolution AIM chatroom... how long ago? I have some chats saved from back in January. XD Fun stuff there. Zoids Matrix!
