Summer is already over for some people. Others still have a few weeks of freedom left before their summer ends as well. When will your school/college start and what level are you going into? My college starts classes on the 23rd this month. This is my first year in college. Oh the joy. ^_^'

Nothing this year. I'm...regrouping, for lack of a better word. I need to figure out more clearly what I'm doing...

I'm a senior in college, yet I just changed my major from Illustration to Digital Illustration (yay computers!), so I've still got a good couple semesters before I finish. I think I start back on the 29th? I never pay attention. I go back when they tell me to. XD;

I habe to go back to school sometime early September.
Going into Gr 10.

I'll be a freshman in college this year and start the 1st of September. However, I move in August 28th, which I'm really looking forward to...except for all the work.

Edit: I'll be an animal science major at Rutgers University.

Pretty much a Sophmore at West Virginia University in Biology.

Anime and manga is my soft side. people who would ever know that would not respect me for nothing . <_< Were I live its like that.You know gang fights and other s12t that set me back further from my dream of makeing manga..Oh well , I gest if I draw at night I wouldent lose my dream ,and dont do any thing to much in school or near my people... :unsure:

My school starts the 30th. I agree with you Fury school is stupid. I already the second smartest person in my school <my best friends the frist>. I hate it, but I'll be a freshman and sadly in politics. :angry:

School is not stupid. The learning environment can be crappy, but school is very good! And always follow your dreams. The more people picked on me for drawing cartoons, the more I wanted to make a career out of it. XD

I agree there...the idea isn't what's bad, it's more the enviroment...mostly the people. At least in junior high it was for me.

Mmm....technically 2nd year in college. Also technically I'm a senior in college. Weird huh? Currently no major, currently Community College due to family problems and money problems.

And yeah, school isn't stupid, not by a long shot. If it weren't for school how many of y'all would know how to read? How to use a computer? Would there be manga for you to see and dream of drawing? School - education - is responsible for it. Diss the people if you have to, diss the building if you have to, diss the staff that tries their hardest if you must.

But don't disrespect the intent.

We're still going with school, I've got about 5 weeks to go and then my last year starts, Year 12. Arg.

My school finishes at the end of the year.. then next year I'm year 13.. and after that, I'm off to uni... or something. I'm trying to figure out what I want to do once I leave school.. but I don't have much of an idea :(

Monday, August 29th is when I start first year college. Got my schedule and it actually rocks.. No classes before 9am, and none after 2pm.. Weekends off too. Nice.

Right now I'm in that excited/scared feeling. I've already taken a few classes at my college thru my high school, but I've never had to ballance schooling and work. Its gonna be interesting...
Lol Highschool was fun, as a freshman, it sucked... didn't know anything or any teachers, as a sophomoreit got a little better (not a freshman), then as a junior I had the best year, I dunno, it was just so great.. 12th grade as a senior was ok, but I worked like a dog, that sucked, but I managed to graduate witha 4.0 and never took easy A courses..

I just got my schedule today and it's not too bad. I only have two 9:15 classes and on Mondays, I don't start until 2:15pm. Friday's I'm done by 3:25 and on Thursdays, I only have one class. Unfortunately, that one class is a three hour Bio course! >.<

I'm pretty happy about Mondays because I'll get to sleep in, and after working all weekend at the Rennaissance Faire, I'll definately need it!

While my job is tiring, it's a good job and it's alot of fun. Plus, it's pretty good money...and it only goes for two months so I can deal with it for that period of time.

I just talked to my roomate for the second time and she seems pretty nice which is good because I was afraid I would get someone obnoxious or annoying. I think I'll have a good time at school. ^ ^
