i decided to practice my drawing of females today since they usually end up looking.... weel you wouldnt want to know anyway here is the coulored and non-coulored versions.



i drew and inked the outline then coulored it on paint shop pro 8.

Neato. I like how the scratchy lines make her seem like shes gonna jump alive. Nice job with the highlights, have you tried doing shadows? Other than that, her head seems strange some how... :P

Have you been using PSP8 long? I find it alot more challenging to use than PSP7. I did my first color job with PSP7. clicky

ive been using psp8 for sigs for a while but this is the first time ive color job on the pc ever so um yah. the darker shades are supposed to be in the shadow but i suppose some places should be a bit darker, and its scratchy because i inked it befoer i scanned it because the it wouldnt come up properly un-inked.

and the head looks weired because i forgot the ears... DOH

Can PSP 8 save properly transparent pngs, or does it still inisist on gif-style transparency with only one color and 255 colors for the image? No point in that, I say x_X.

PSP8 can (alpha layer, you dont specify a color persay.. but it does work with partial transparency), I think PSP7 can aswell. But I havent recently tried it.
