It started out as a good show really funny almost Simpsons seasons 3-6 funny. The first few seasons were amazing. When it they stopped making episodes I thought it was another too good for TV show like Futuramma was. If you look back you see it was both retarded funny and some what you have to think bout funny. Then came the year 2005 when new episodes were made and started being aired. I waited for the first with great delight, but the waiting was better than the watching. Family Guy had became a show base on retard ness and wasn’t funny no more.

If you look at it, it’s not a whole new Family Guy season just half a season. Why? I'll explain. There seems to be more random happenings and 30 spot fills in one episode then the plot of the episode. These spot fillers consist of pointless talking like "hey look over there" "there?" "no there" "there?" "no that there" "oh there" "hah made you look there". Pointless sense with no dialog just (usually Peter) doing something like fighting that guy in the chicken suit then coming back like nothing had happened. Before it seemed like they just ignored Stewie's talking bout killing Louis (he doesn’t do that no more), but now its seems that they listen to him and then look as nothing had happened (still going on bout spot fillers). Last but not least the flaw of the show comments like "why haven’t you grown in like 6 years" or "hey you’re a dog, why the hell are you smarter than me". I can go on and on with examples but I won’t, I'll just skip to my next point.

Though in the past it wasn’t a clean show suitable for young children, but it wasn’t as dirty as it is today. After I watch an episode (usually laughing once or twice but not usually out loud) I find myself thinking 'this is just inches away from crossing the line from cartoon not suitable for younger children to animated porn'. It uses to be Peter and Louis talking bout having sex and you don’t see anything, now its turned into much more(you still don’t see anything but its still too much). Sex its being mentioned all the time between many of the cast, sometimes in inappropriate ways. For example, the time brain got drunk at that yuat party (I think) he can up to Meg and said something like "Your 16 now...um...you know....um...if you..ever want to fool around..um...call me, hahhee haeh." Comments like that are totally inappropriate and disgusting.

Family Guy had turn into one of those lets be retards and hope the dumb viewers will laugh at the retardedness of what we're doing shows. It was Simpson seasons 11-13 all over again. The retardedness of their antics became worst and worst. Then it became total randomness from there with things popping in changing the plot for a minute and changing it back.

Such a promising show with great humor and plot reduced to a piece of crap filled with spot fillers, random retardness, inappropriate antics and general piece of crap properties. It’s a shame really; it was such a great a great show.

I noticed that too, most people still think its great just because of the name. Not many people see past that and see that it sucks(Simpsons is a geat example of that also).

I see that is usully tha people that arnt too smart that usually cant see that it sucks just a little bit. My 4 year cusion thinks its great I quote 'I like it that man does funny things, hahaha he fell down."

Im not saying that people that like it are dumb, Im just saying its in bad taste. Either that or your 4 or something.

I admit,I don't watch the show alot. So I can't tell the difference between the old and new seasons. I can't even tell which episodes are old or new.

I know I said "it's probably the funniest show on Adult Swim". I typed that because everyone seems to really love it and it amuses me when I see it in some once in a while.

So basically that statement was a reflection of how much people you saw liked it, not your own opinion? It's not accurate then.

Um..No its my opinion, but lots of people like it and um...I dont think an opinion can be inaccurate.

The new episodes are pretty funny but not as good as the originals. Although the first minute of the first new episode was genius.
