And may be the reason for nobody joining it , is because nobody wants to...Anybody can make a site, but u need to acualy show that your site is good..Right now I see your site as a ,sorry escuse for a kid who wanted to become an Admin ...No work is seen in it. You can't just come up in here and start begging people to join a site that don't even looks good. People have lifes and options in life. If they don't want to join then they don't have to join..Sorry , but thats just the way it is....

For now i'm a mod and we can be team members. That would be cool. We would be unstopable.

If you're going to make a forum, you have to have in mind of what kind of people you want to attract. It also helps if you create your own stuff to go with it, like bios/rules/lists and the like. And from what I see, you just take other peoples.
And all that forum is, is spamming. I have no idea why I joined either...

Um this would probably go in the advertising forum but yea..anyway...no link no nothing? Plus most of us saw your topic in the advertising forum already...and it was closed...for a reason....

So far in your forum I see a forum full of talk between three people, no offense but that really isn't what people will join for.

@Fury OD has harsh sounding as it is...he is partly right...anybody can make a site nowadays...*sigh* I remember back then..when 20-something megabytes used to be alot...

Also you don't seem to know how to set forum moderation, you set Fury, Zoids Solider and konig to be the moderators on all those forums one by one? You know there's something called a global moderator...

I remember when 5mb was sane for free hosting...and when Geocities was COOL. Before most sites had ads...and then you get like...little banners on Angelfire and the like, then BAM, it was everywhere...popups, too. Then spyware...who else remembers CometCursor?

I remember when most layouts were mostly text-based, before graphics and Flash took over. Thanks a lot, broadband. Much as I love CSS, I long for plain layouts again...

Agreed I actually used geocities myself back then...then I moved because I didn't like it anymore...ahh yes everyone used to use geocities and angelfire..alot of zoids sites used angelfire too...I did so myself..but no more...if you want a host go for tripod UK..its even got MYSQL to boot..I could install Invision Power Board on it...

uhh I don't remember that much...meh I blame W3C...CSS was a nice idea..but they're forcing everyone to go XHTML which is ridiousily complicated, HTML is EASY...but by making a overly difficult coding language they're discouraging new webmasters. Yes there is the XHTML transistion but noneless they're forcing out HTML.

I know i can't make people join. :rolleyes: I'm just asking if they want to join? He really needs help! He doesn't even know how to make someone else an ADMIN! I asked him if he could when he came over my house and went on his site. I need to know how to make a banner out of scratch? I want to make a cool one for his site. And how do you put pictures in it? I'm working way too much on Blackbird's Song, and trying to find all the proper rules/information for that. I'm also making a homesite for that, and trying to find a banner/skin for it.
Maybe you guys could bother reading the FAQ and find out? It's sorta kinda easy too. That would help quite a bit... ;)

Global Moderator as for example HaTcH and Tilly are can moderate all the forums, what your friend did was set everyone moderator of each forum one by one, that function is designed to let say one person moderator a few forums or a specific one, global moderators on the other hand can moderate all of them. He's obviously not familiar with forums. Sheesh the pain it would be to set everyone a moderator of each forum one by one...

No offense..but you guys really aren't the best qualified for the job...ugh you guys need alot of learning...you should've stuck with simple HTML websites and then worked your way up..forums are for a later time...AFTER you've done the basics...this is what happens when you take shortcuts...

If you'd designed a website you wouldn't known how to creates images and HTML, simple stuff...the forum also uses that...you just don't see it....most of this you should probably figure out though trial and error...

If you're still wondering about the Admin thing the account registered when the board was created would be root admin, he would be the same thing as Jammer is, Head Admin except her group is renamed. Now Root admin are the head and basically top, administrators are basically the same thing but not up there...and moderators you know yada yada...just poke around the forum settings...invision didn't come out with a documentation book until recently (too late! I already know the ins and outs now)..and it costs money...

I suggest you guys ask your friends or someone who knows how to do this...I'm sure one of your school friends has worked with Invision Power Board or images.

I could go on all day explaining all of Invision's features..and this is only IPB 1...invisionfree too...that means its already a watered down version of a 2yrs old piece of script..imagine you guys setting up IPB 2.1.3...whoa...

I can't stress not going too far ahead of yourself...next thing on my list: XHTML or PHP!

Your news is also set up wrong..lol...you set it to the member introductions so every time someone introduces themselves its listed as news..I'm still amazed he set you all up as moderators on all 16 forums...

eh? He's set you to moderatate 16 forums yet he doesn't move you into the moderator group...you're listed as members..
