How can a guest use messenger? not to mention no one was on annonymous...

Also, I cannot send, or recieve PMs with several members of the board. Dunno why.

And... my post count changed.... I had like 4300.. now I'm up in the 4600's.... thats just weird... I dunno what else is funky, but alot of minor things are glitching... its kinda funny so long as it doesn't effect the board... hehe just wanted to point that stuff out... I'm bored.. sue me.

I couldn't access a couple of the topics in General Forums... Harry Potter in the Goblet of Fire... so I was quite confused. I got that a lot lately... so anyone know?

I recall Blade mentioning this bug awhile back, I think its in the announcements page, he even said how to do it....

It could be those members or a admin disabled their PM access....

I just did a test, I copied the PM Messenger link from my browser and then onto another browser not logged into ZE, it showed that a guest was using the PM messenger, to be sure I went to the index on and on the last click it showed that the guest [me] was on the index...so it means even though they can't view it and may be requested to login, they'll be seen as using the PM Messenger...

EDIT: I believe this has to do with the forum restructuring, its possible because ALOT of topics were deleted the topics may not have the same topic ID...possible...

You're set up specifically for certain forums, for some reason it's just not adding the RPG moderator group in general.

I don't know anything about the PM or topic stuff....

Go ahead and try for yourself if your bored. Log yourself out and click on random person and try to send them a PM. Nothing happens, amirite?

Its just the way how IPB displays this on the online list.

Okay, well i had that happen to me as well, where a guest was veiwing the general topic and then veiwed a whole variety of topics until it vanished... Although i didnt think anything of it, it did kinda look really creapy!

And so what about your post count... Are you sure its not that you are so used to being here and not posting in the RPG, that now that you are posting there it seems to be going up quiker then when you only posted everywhere else...

Um it's not that unusual..in fact I'm willing to bet it was fuz, he's always anonymous now...he even said so himself in the who's anonymous topic in the spam forum, I said spam forum because it WAS orginally in it...

It could also be another anonymous member...

Post count is no indication of you beyond how much have you contributed so far....

If you're in the RPG chances are your posts count will go up quickly...

How about a world of ZI map as the background... or... every Zoid? I think the forums would look good in... a more metalic kind of color... that's just me, cuz Zoids are machines...

It would be hard to see with a world of Zi map as the background and the same with every zoid, the thing is that its best to use solid colors as a backgrounds because board images and text show best. I have seen forums with images with backgrounds and they don't look so good...

They can though as long as you know what you're doing with the images, you know with controlling opacity and stuff.

As for the forum skin, it looks nice. You're sneaking online, again.

Its not just because its dialup, I never liked flash layouts for websites, they seemed too much like a game, I dunno. I prefer seeing what page I'm on, address bar, be able to know what the browser is doing, not just off and connecting to here and there doing as it pleases.

HTML is nice because its not a program. And therefore STOPs running when its done being processed.

(not to mention flash is memory eat-ey on old comps...)

Just because I can do Flash doesn't mean I like it. That program's caused me a few headaches.

Yeah, that's kind of what I'm looking for Jammer. See this white background... it's kind of dull... however, if it's white you guys want to stay with sure keep it, and live happy. I think it's getting old though, just my opinion.

The forum top bar needs to match...and it needs a touch more greenish hue, like the rest of the board's colors. Otherwise I like it...

Well...I don't know...I kinda like it....But I'll like it better if there was a matching skin or something...And then the Bandits will rejoice..^^

I like it.. it's just that it doesn't go with everything else. If the rest of the stuff was matching, it would be nice.

In anycase this is why I'm an illustrator and not a graphic designer. I think it would be fun to have something like that, but I definitely need to employ the assistance of someone more graphics oriented.

I'm not much of a graphics designer type either, but I can try.

Perhaps some combination of the default header and Zoids-ness would work? Subtle, yet different.

It should match and look unique to the board, frankly a color change should be needed. This blue is too, standard IF/IPB new boards.

I've designed forum skins before for Rockman boards...but I simply don't have the time for this one this week...

The zoid-ness of the last one was nice, but I think the killer was the repeating-ness of it. If you made something similar to it without having it repeat (use CSS) I think it would look good.
