I usually make unnaturally long posts, so bear with me here.

Around two years ago, I got into this show that aired on CN, which was, you guessed it Zoids. The Chaotic Century/Guardian force seasons, to be exact. I became immensly interested in all things that had to do with Zoids, so I started Googling up websites. One came up which seemed quite complete: Red River Base. I visited this site frequently, and was quite happy to notice that the owner(Something Wolf?) of that site decided to make a new one, which would be ad-free and such. I registered on the forums, and made around 100 and so posts before I lost interest in Zoids.

Every few weeks, however, I would visit Zoids Evolution in case anything new appeared; the site was now down.

A year ago, I became yet again interested in Zoids, and decided to build a few of those toy models. I currently have an Energy Liger and that huge dinosaur thingie with the gravity gun whose name I could not recall at that moment.

And now, present time. I visited this site again just today, and was dismayed to find the site still down, as it was in November. However, I did start downloading some Guardian Force episodes of torrents, and was even more dismayed to find that, since I had "grown up", I begun to realize the horrible voice acting that was involved with it.

Oh well, I still decided to join, so here I am.

My theory as to the CC dub is that only Prozen can act. And Ultrasaurus, yes? And it was Duowolf.

From what it seems ZIT is dead...instead the staff of the forum are coming up with something....I only have a vague idea...duo hasn't really given the domain or space to anybody yet...hopefully she will renew the domain when it expires by Feb...

no, Zoids has NEVER been subbed sadly, and the raws are hard to find as well. The dub isn't THAT bad, all things considered, for it being a syndicated anime. XD Just think of how much worse it COULD be. Haha!

Currently we're trying to work out some issues with the forums, then I'd like to return to work for the site. It's just been a bit slow.

I dunno, my sister saw a bit of CC and she kept yelling "Vaaaaaaan." like Fiona and Rudolph...the period being intentional. She noticed O'Connell's hair but I can't remember what she said...

The lack of cuts in most places (the only really bad ones are those couple things in the Riese-y eps that mess up her past and the thing with Thomas actually locking on to his brother and all...) is good, though.

This Christmas break I'm planning on taking more screen shots of the anime. I got the final CC DVD a while ago, but I still have yet to watch it.. FINAL FOURRRRRR!

As for the other stuff, well you know, I've seen a few episodes where it seems the animation is somehow different. Such as the Zoids /Zero episode 16, everyone is shiney and stretchy... Its wierd. Other than that, I don't mind the dub. Heh, I can't watch Inuyasha though, every time I hear him say "Kagome" I think "Strike Laser Claw!" Curse the short list of english VAs..

Was CC made at least 10 years ago? If so, you can download it legally, I believe.

I have the last three episodes of CC in Japanese on VHS and I still haven't watched them. I want to watch the Gojulas ep again. Hermann's evil laugh cracks me up!

That's a lie. Zoids CC/GF has been fansubbed by Anime-Sky-Scrapper.

And do you have any supporting references or experiences between the raw/subbed anime and the dub anime? How do we know the claim that you've made is true and not empty?

Whut. Well I've never seen any fansubbed eps, and never heard of anyone else finding any, so that's news to me.

And what do you mean by my claim? My claim about the voice acting? I'm comparing it to OTHER anime that was brought over specifically for syndication - airing on TV. I'm comparing the voice work to stuff like Pokemon or Yu-Gi-Oh! I was just rather impressed by CC's dub in comparison to them.

Anime Sky Scrapper are the ones that I could only find on the internet, but I haven't checked AnimeYume yet so there might be hope for the others, particularly KAOS(they finished CC/GF).

rabid fan of Four Murasame, Stella Loussier, Aina Sahalin, Riza Hawkeye, and Liger Zero Panzer.
Also, since Steel and Retal are basically gone, the forum's semi-retired but still-obsessive Gundam fan, particularly of the Universal Century Series, and firm believer that SEED Destiny started out great, with an ending that sucked [censored]. And that Kira Yamato would get mauled in a fight against just about any of the really powerful UC mech, like Hi-Nu, Sazabi, or Quin Mantha.(Strike Freedom VS Quin Mantha...I would pay to see that one...)
