Welcome to ZE, fellow member. Enjoy your stay, and browse around to what you like a lot. Join the RPG if you want to play the role of a character that is of your imagination. Other than that, come back frequently to see what's new! :D
Matrixdragon - December 25, 2005 05:03 PM (GMT)
Hello and welcome!! Hope you enjoy your stay here.
....Your sig is so sad...;_;
ZeRoRaVeN - December 25, 2005 06:59 PM (GMT)
Hi Raven_Zoids that's a werid user name, welcome to the forum and so on...since when did Raven cry?
Matrixdragon - December 25, 2005 07:44 PM (GMT)
GF, ep. 57, "The Nightmare". Hiltz killed Shadow. I cried too.;_;
HaTcH - December 25, 2005 07:55 PM (GMT)
Hello, and welcome to the forums.
How 'bout a little about yourself?
What are you into, what got you interested in zoids, if you have models, what is your fave etcetera etcetera that kind of stuff..?
ZeRoRaVeN - December 25, 2005 07:58 PM (GMT)
You mean you're seriouslly interested in that kind of stuff?
It's usually the same thing, "one day I turned on the TV and omg Zoids was showing and then I fell in love with it and I was really sad the zoidsevolution website had to go down and I'm just here to check out the forum"
or the models one which I'm not in the mood to type out, its mostly the anime.
And then they start posting and within weeks they disappear. I got the process down. :D
ShadowDragon062 - December 25, 2005 08:13 PM (GMT)
Actually you see him cry before that too. You see it in Episode "The Distant Stars" Where Ambient was just released from the pod, and killed Raven's parents, etc. Then we see him crying after Hiltz kills Shadow, and then he cries again before Shadow disappeares.
Again, welcome to the forums. Don't worry, if you don't like your username just PM a mod to change it or something. However, you can make it whatever you want, we each are unique and pick the name we want.
HaTcH - December 25, 2005 11:37 PM (GMT)
Well maybe if certain members wouldn't act so incorrigably we'd have a larger community.
I mean, remember Genofox? They scared him off. Zinou hasn't been around in ages, Gene Starwind, Lord Sesshomaru.. all these people... And more. Spamming and acting mean to other members IS not something to be proud of.
Aaaaanyway, I figured if we got interested maybe we could start some kind of dialog here, you know? This is a message board, and this is an INTRODUTION topic. So tell us about yourself!

Stop lying HaTcH, they weren't scared off, much. I remember some them..Zinou is busy with college, she doesn't even update her fanfic for that matter.
Genofox was bored with ZE
| QUOTE |
Well since Kirby kinda left, I was thinking about that. And I've decided I'm gonna leave for now. ZE's a cool place and all but it's getting boring to me. I have kinda lost interest in this place. So I'm going to leave....for now..
I'll come back some....other time. |
He frequents ZGC, must like the spam.
Oh please, stop being so optimisitic. lol
Sir Maverick - December 25, 2005 11:58 PM (GMT)
Or you can try not being so pessimistic. HaTcH is right, as he often is. We have scared off a fair number of people. Especially ones who join the RPG. And it's due in part to people like you, who don't seem to care if people come or go. This is a community, a place to hang out with people who share your interests. Being a pain in the ass is not a good way to keep people around.
ZeRoRaVeN - December 26, 2005 12:12 AM (GMT)
Oh come now, I was joking.
Hmm ass was removed from the ban filter...
The RPG I'm not aware of as I didn't get to really see it until recently was you know.

Incorrect. Gene Starwind (ZeroX) was bored with ZE, including Genofox (I don't blame them). Zinou is busy with college (or other reasons applied) and Lord Sesshomaru is now Sensui.
I suggest actually chatting to people rather than spectating from the sidelines and make your opinions of their absence. Its better off to find out the truth rather than sitting down making your own theories of what happened. You'll never get far.

HaTcH...what's a necropost??? :]
Here's a big reason why people have not visited as often. The interest in zoids has died down with the lack of models and the fact that the dub no longer airs. Ever thought about that?
I can name a few good friends of mine who were really scared off though...and not by people like us but by others.
HaTcH - December 26, 2005 05:32 PM (GMT)
Question, how often are there topics, meaningful ones that actually focus on zoids? On this board there really aren't that many considering this is a zoids themed message board. Has that stopped me from coming on and posting? No. Because interest in zoids has dwindled, the QUALITY of the community is what counts. In the past month we have had tons of newbs arrive, but how many are still here? They thought hey, a zoids community that isn't XD OMFG ZOIDSROXOR, maybe it would be fun to join and post. So they browse around and find all these meaningless topics and figure, bleh this sucks, and leave.
Perhaps it was boredom, but your presence doesn't help matters much either, Hetman.
Also, please excuse me for not keeping track of EVERY member and their name changes.
STALIN - December 27, 2005 02:18 AM (GMT)
Off to siberia with you, for just talking.

HaTcH, seriously, who would come to a message board that's pure zoids, that would be boring. There's only so much on one topic, Oh yay let's all just talk about zoids anime and models all day, what if it was in your decision would you get rid of all of the non-zoids forums?
Are you saying everything that's not zoids related is no meaningful and erodes the "quality" of the community. I put quality in quotes because I'm going to refer to your definition of quality.
Tilly - December 27, 2005 04:43 AM (GMT)
That's the reverse of what he's saying, I think. People are looking for a community built around a common interest, regardless of whether said interest is that big any more...like minds. They're not looking for negativity, not looking for people sniping at each other and playing high and mighty.

1. True, quality of the community is a major contributor to a forum- what's the point of quality when new and fun topics aren't being posted constantly and steadily? This 'quality' will slowly fade.
For example, you have a half-filled bucket of water with a couple of holes and it slowly drains until there's nothing left. In order to maintain the 'balance', the amount of water you have to add is equal to the amount of water coming out. Maybe if we're lucky, the amount of water added is greater than the amount water coming out. However, you have a problem. You have a limited supply of water.
Or ideally; a flower seed. You have the best soil and fertiziler that money can buy. You plant the seed. You add water and some sunlight. It grows. If you stop adding water, it'll eventually die out. But ultimately, adding water or not, it'll die.
And your second point is a generalization with your beliefs combined...
So allow me to ask you this; how many times have you registered in a forum after having a look and you thought to yourself, 'this looks pretty good' that you sooner or later stop visiting the message board altogether? I certainly have even with my top common interest. My reasons? Usually lack of activity, lack of interesting people to chat to, the people are not my type to mingle with, realizations that I found out (the "true" nature of a forum), moronic and tyranical authority and those are the ones I can think of from the very top of my head.
2. Then would you kindly explain your impact of your presence? Since Tilly doesn;t want us 'sniping' each other-- I'll save it for another day. =)
3. Moderator, your the one who brought this up blindly. You only have yourself to blame. Good day, sir.
P.S. Annnd, its too late to point fingers and scapegoating others. Far too late..

*points* I saw you Tilly! I was going to edit my post and then you delete it and I had to go offline and then I couldn't edit it last night. And I know you did it since HaTcH told me he didn't. I know the truth. :P
There's nothing wrong with a zoids forum containing posts other than zoids, but I'll just leave it at that.
Tilly - December 28, 2005 01:17 AM (GMT)
I didn't delete anything. I even checked the logs to make sure I didn't accidently delete something O_o.
ZeRoRaVeN - December 28, 2005 01:24 AM (GMT)
Well I know somebody deleted something, even HaTcH noticed it.

The last logged action for me is deleting a placeholder post of mine in the RPG forum, and that was a while ago.
I'll poke around...
(edit) I can't seem to find anything deleted in this topic. Nothing in the mods' logs (at least the ones I checked)...

Um, this is an intro topic... This should be discusssed somewhere else...
