Title: Gameboy Micro
Description: O.o What the...

I went to Wal-Mart with my aunt and uncle earlier today to get dog food and some other stuff we needed. I was over in the electronics department looking around and looked down to where they have the NDS at. I was shocked to see something new. A small rectangular object no bigger than an old NES controller, label Gameboy Micro. The first thought that came to my mind was "WTF is this thing?" Then it said "Holy crap... Thats one small gameboy..." Then I realized it kinda looked close to an old NES controller...

Anyways... Anyone else seen these things? Or have one?

I have one! I named her smudge. (I name any portable I get) The screen is REALLY bright and vivid. You can even adjust the brightness. The power indicator is in the start and select buttons (full power is blue instead of green ^_^) They come with change-able faceplates and a pouch. Despite how small it is, it is actually pretty comfortable to play. The link cable port now doubles as the port for recharging (to save space). Even though I have a GBA,GBASP, Gameboy Player, and DS, I got it. Yep, I'm a collector of sorts. B)

The GBM has been out for several months now, and you've just seen this now? Hehehe.

Anyway, the GBM has a smaller screen than the SP and GBA, but the screen itself is much brighter than the GBA and SP. I have one of those, but I don't use it. The GBA and SP are good enough for me. I'd rather have a bigger screen.

The size of the GBM isn't really comfortable for my fingers. Arf.

Hardy har har har... Very funny... <_< I haven't been to Wal-Mart in a while... And I think they just got it in anyways... Meh, I have a DS... I pawned my GBA when I got it...

Indeed, it is very old news, and it doesn't sell only in wal-mart, why New York City is walmart free, walmart is attempting to enter my city but they've been rejected and people protested..heheheh...last I heard they're trying to get a spot in staten island...

The thing is the micro is an interesting concept but I wouldn't buy it....I'm still skeptical of the DS I think it's too big...I think the SP (got one!) had a good design but I'm wary of the DS..too big...and the micro is too small...

Don't see much of a purpose in such a little, and useless system. Nintendo is hardly worth the cost for that stupid thing.

Good price and a nice little system, I'd buy one if I could by bothered borrowing my parents credit card to get a flash kit. :ph43r:

Ohno, nothing illegal of course. I'd simply want to make backups of the games I've bought. *cough*

I wanted a Micro...or save for a PSP....

I already have every other gameboy ever, so why buy another? So I'm going to buy a PSP, name it Gear, buy FF: AC and have some popcorn.

The DS is ok, but way too big. And I have the fugly silver one. So GBASP remains my favorite.

PlushRayseTiger - January 23, 2006 10:16 PM (GMT)
The silver DS looks pretty spiffy with this sticker Sorta like a fancy space taco ^_^
