Yeah... my computer's been kinda laggy recently, so I decided to stop being lazy and get around to finally running Mr Adware program thingy. I honestly can't remember the last time I ran it... like... a month and a half ago, I think? Anyway, here are the results of the scan. I thought I'd share 'em with y'all. xp

253 Days ago was mine...
1 of those objects is a registry key that keeps DivX working, and teh other 26 are just cookies. So I have no real problems here.
Why?
1. MY HOSTS FILE IS MASSIVE
2. I use Firefox.

Most I ever had was 200 some I think. I usually scan often though. Do you use Firefox? Only thing I use. :D

I ran Ad-Aware and Spybot on my 6-year-old Gateway.
They found one thing that wasn't even really a problem, not counting cookies.
I did the same for this compy after a couple years, and found a few minor things that seemed to be a result of other people using AOL instead of Firefox (augh). Ever since then it's either found nothing or a few cookies, which don't matter.
At least update and patch your copy of IE, silly! And remember, pervy stuff is a very nice way to get crap on your computer :p.

Not bad. I got a few thousand viruses on a neglected old PC with a broken anti-virus/firewall installation which I used for a year or so...I was too lazy to fix it. So I formated it like a year ago with Windows 2000, works great ever since.
I rarely get viruses or spyware. *sigh* I'm running too many anti-spyware programs..

I scan it when I feel like it. Which means from a period of 1 second to 2 yrs.

And after 250 days, having the hosts file certainly has had an effect in the amount of stuff teh scan actually found!
