Today, 20 yrs ago the Challenger exploded approx 30 seconds after liftoff.

Too bad I don't get cable...

It's so weird whenever I watch the video of the Challenger explosion, I mean, besides the shock that it actually happened, there's something familiar about it that makes me wonder if maybe I saw the event on TV when I was three. It's just so... heartbreaking.

Yeah, I remember the Challenger tradgedy. Its sad... I remember when I was in school, like 10 years ago, that the teacher I had at the time took off this day because she had known the teacher aboard the shuttle...

o.0 That was pretty cool. All because of some very simple mechanical mistake, wasn't it?

I know it was said when those people died, but meh. Everyone dies at one point or another. I see no reason for them to even have gone into space to begin with. not like we will acomplish anything out there. Nothing out there we need to see, or use. Or destroy for that matter. I prefer humans being confined to one planet.
