Description: for the mac!

I'm looking for a 3D modelling program that will run on Mac OS X. Something easy to use, for the beginner that I am, but also looks good.. realistic.
I've been looking around, and found a few that look good, but I was wondering if anyone here could point me to a better one.

Nice modelling tool, and with Yafray added on you can render some amazing pictures. Very nice features, all your basic modelling techniqes, really well documented and constantly being updated. Very sexy and not too hard to get started with.

Thanks for that ^_^ It looks really good. I'll give it a whirl and see what I can do.

Not for modeling stuff so much as landscapes, but I've heard it's fun and there's a Mac version:

I was looking for one to model stuff, for graphics... but I'll have a go at Terragen too (you never know when you'll need a background!)
hehe.. I'm going to end up with all these programs on the computer, and I won't be able to decide which one I like best ^^;

Terragen's a great tool, you can import your terrains into more powerful modelling programs, like blender, and incorporate them into the actual 3d model, which is pretty cool.
And it's a little addictive T_T
