Title: Ever Forget...
The Zombie - February 15, 2006 08:16 PM (GMT)
Ever forget you have a webpage open in the background or minimized? Then remember its there and are like "oh yeah..."
I just did... I forgot I had ZE open... ^^; XD
JammerLea - February 15, 2006 08:55 PM (GMT)
I've done that a few times. XD Yay for multi-tasking!

I sometimes will accidently open multiple tabs of something...does that count?

With tabs, no such thing occurs. All you poor firefox-deprived people.
Tilly - February 15, 2006 10:32 PM (GMT)
Yes it does, when you have too many open to easily read what they are...or have multiple windows with multiple tabs.
Momonga - February 16, 2006 06:29 AM (GMT)
I do it all the time with tabs... and then sometimes I'll go to close one tab, and without thinking close the whole window X_x

I keep a list of links under the firefox address bar and they usually all point to forums, but I do sometimes visit one site in a new tab or window, and then eventully make my way back to ZE in like every tab... So I'm like... ok.. 3 tabs/windows all of the same thing...[ctrl]+w

I once opened five tabs of the same thing, and would have kept going if I hadn't noticed that I had already opened the site 5 times. That's what happens when you let a single instance of firefox run for a week (un-interrupted) + ADD + opening up new tabs every time you sit down at the computer.
JammerLea - February 16, 2006 07:03 AM (GMT)
I once accidently opened a whole folder of favorites. 653455 tabs! x_o It was pretty funny though, looking back on it and me spazzing out.

I have a gigabyte of RAM and eight virtual desktops. I once forgot that I had Warcraft 3 running.
And started Doom 3 up.
And never realized war3 was still running until after I closed Doom.
I generally run 5-7 tabs at a time; I've got my 12 favorite online comics in a bookmarks folder and once a day I click "open in tabs" and read them all that way xp

Yes, Firefox needs a facility where Leonard Nemoy is like "Hey! You're already browsing that site on window 2, tab 5.
XD

Actually I leave ZE up all day while at work. Have minimun of up to 10 different screens up at any given time running. Some owrk related some not. This is my office computer where i have two flat screen monitors linked together so it's easy.

*falls over laughing*
They should really do that.... Thats would be so funny... Until someone comes in and points out the obvious: "Hey, look! Its Mr. Spock!" <_<

Its also nice if you leave the forums on the index page, the script I wrote for the site will automatically refresh your browser after like 3 minutes or 300 seconds.. I don't remember. But that is a nice feature IMO.
The Zombie - February 20, 2006 11:15 PM (GMT)
It is a nice feature. I don't have to worry about refreshing the page every time I come back to it while multi-tasking. :P
