:lol: Yes, Taco max. I have no clue about what they are actually saying, but still... Anyhoo, my favorite songs come from Animal Crossing, Sonic games, Sonic Rush in particular (Taco Max!), The Rub Rabbits!, Zoids, Pokemon and Kirby. Most are instrumental, but in the case of Sonic Adventure/2, they have lyrics (pretty catchy ones at that).

I've only played a few video games enough to know the music, but I want the ohnoesyouranintoaboss music from Jashin Fukkatsu. It's always such a nice change when you've run into 3945901589485 other wild Zoids and heard the regular music over and over and over...

There's the catch-a-critter music on the blue table in pokemon Pinball, but it doesn't really count since it's the first Japanese intro.

I also want the old bike theme for Pokemon, just to drive people mad like it did me :p.

Rockman Zero 4's OST has me addicted. In fact, the song "Area Zero" is my ringtone :D

I've got this Ancestors thing from one of the old Zoid video games (I forget which-the Commodore one?) and a remix of it. They're both incredibly brain-eaty, and if such things were on CD I'd buy them.

Hmm, my favorites have to be both Metroid Primes, Skies of Arcadia, Baten Kaitos, and Tales of Symphonia. They all have awesome music, especially the two Metroid Primes which are hands down my absolute favorite video game soundtracks (they're both equally good).

@ Tilly: It's not quite the same, but this is a remix of the cycling theme.

I like the music in zoids: legacy, and red, blue, yellow of pokemon (until you play it too long and it gets annoying at least). And I also love the music in Fire Emblem, well the first one at least

I like the music on zoids Battle Legends.

The Code lyoko theme is quite addicting....even if the show sucks.

Suikoden II had a really nice sound track for its time, it's one of the few anything soundtracks I actually bought. So sad that Suikoden 3 and 4 are such trash, both game play and music :( .

i cant remember much of the music on the games that i play but some of the metal gear solid ones are soooooo cool! *hums some tunes from MGS espacially the alarm songs*

Classic Megaman and Kirby are amoung my favorites for game music. Oddly enough, I found myself finding Legacy's music pretty uninteresting :P. I think the latest Sonic games on the GC had pretty good music too.

Wilfred Castillo's Game-Boy SID-based music is really awesome. I listen to it while playing games that *need* better music.

I recall liking the music from Chrono Cross (or was it Trigger?)too, I don't know which it was, because they both belonged to someone else.

Silent Hill series. I have them all and listen to them frequently because Akira Yamaoka is awesome.

And the Katamari soundtracks, too. I almost forgot those.

Star Ocean the Second Story: Arranged Album is probably my favorite of all! Unfortunately my CD of it got stolen along with a brand new CD Discman like... my second year in college. *sobs* I got a friend to burn me a new copy though...

I'm goin' oldschool. Mario = love. Good music that goes through the ages. Plus I don't game much at all. At all.

Star Ocean the second story has some intense stuff though, what little of it I have played.

But still...Mario.
