Consider the following statistic:
1 out of every 6 people in the world is not just Chinese, but actually lives IN CHINA.
Since Chinese people are also present outside of China, China only accounts for a *part* of the total population
That means more than 1/6th of the world is actually Chinese
That means more than more than 1/6th of the world is Asian.
For all we know, we all may actually be azn already and not even realize it
