Last night I had decided to take a late night walk. Well, my aunt texted me on my cell to see if my uncle was at the local pub, so I decided to take a certain route for my walk, that ran past the bar. I'm not particularly fond of snakes (Well, if they're a boa or python, I'm cool. But if it happens to be a wild snake, and I see it, I flip out or I just freeze and don't move.) for reasons I'd rather not say. I was about halfway in between my house and my friend Sarah's, who lives donw the street from me, when I looked down and there was this snake laying partially across the sidewalk. It was evidently soaking up the warmth from the sidewalk as the night was cool. I froze in my tracks, scared stiff. I think I stood there for like 10 minutes, just watching it. I eventually backed up slowly and walked a wide arc around it into the street and went on my my. After that I kept watching the sidewalk, paranoid that I was going to get bit by another snake lying in the grass next to the sidewalk.

Hahaha, my mom almost stepped on a snake once when I was out with her. I'm glad she didn't, neither would've been happy.

I also have an uncle who's terrified of snakes. A few people have taken advantage of that weakness to get him back since he's also a practical jokester.

I think snakes are pretty cool, but I'd rather just leave them alone.

I had a Rock Python when I was in High School. I don't hate snakes in general, just when they show up un-announced. :lol:

I was a bit iffy about snakes, but after getting your picture taken with a 5-ft Columbian Boa Constrictor, you tend to get a bit more relaxed about the smaller ones.
Except I hate the venomous kinds.

I hate venemous species. They're cool and all, but yeah.

Well, to be honest Jammer, I like snakes. I'm just not too fond of species other than your regular pythons and boas. My python was named Spike lol. I had bought the Cowboy Bebop DVDs at the same time I got him.

I'm actually thinking of getting a Rosy Boa right now since I've got a good paying job (I've got more money than I know what to do with... <_<) My aunt hates snakes period, so I don't know if she'll let me have one. :huh:

LOL, you wuss. You own snakes, but you're petrified of one on the street? Besides, large boas are far more dangerous than regular snakes. A rosy boa could kill you.
