Title: Yarr
Description: May as well introduce myself
Mystickskye - May 7, 2006 04:08 AM (GMT)
Howdy all. A few folks I know, most I don't and I'm kinda having trouble settling in here what with not having a feel to post in any topics or whatnot. As such I figured to make a post saying hi and all to make some attempt to break the ice or something. Something sounds good.
My general boardname is Mystickskye..... I can't actually remember when (roughly six years ago?), where and why I made it but it originally started off as Mysticskye but one day I typoed in the k (don't ask how, I'm well aware that k is nowhere near c or s and have no clue how I hit it o.o) and I figured no one would use that so it stuck after that.
Some folks know me as Score or Thaur though from when I had an RPG character called Thaurthon and everyone kept on screwing up the spelling of it (apart from Zinou who deliberately spelt it wrong -_-) so everyone called me Thaur after a while. At some point I made a new character called Skye and the board admin figured it'd be funny to change my boardname to "HIMYNAMEISTHAUR" and after a bit of ribbing changed it to "OKAYSOITISSKYE". Next day he had a brainwave though and smash Thaur and Skye together to make Score which stuck for a long time.
Aside from random name history, I hail from New Zealand like Momo does except I live in the South Island whilst she lives in the North Island and I'm actually of Korean descent despite having been born and brought up in New Zealand. I'm told I have a rather unique sense of humor (I say warped xp) though my friends claim that only cool people are capable of understanding it. However, I say it can be downright stupid at times like when I named the hero and antagonist in Pokemon Fire Red Ray and Wolff respectively just so I could watch "Wolff" claim how Ray ought to choose first. Cookie if you get the reference.
In terms of zoids I rather like the models (having something like 80+ which includes six different Command Wolves and multiple other variants because variant collecting is cool) and I like the anime though not quite as much as everyone else it would seem with my preferences being NC0/Fuzors/Genesis (gasp, shock horror and all those blues) followed by CC/GF. Some notable points are that I'm completely screwing over my budget to gain the four Holotech zoids from the Genesis DVD boxsets and that Tilly infected me with her love of shiny things. Seriously.
Other than that, pants, danish, I hate avocados, Jammer is an awesome name as is Rocke and I can't die.
*bows*

Hello and welcome to Zoids Evolution Forums! I hope you enjoy yourself here! XD
My name is awesome? Woohoo! Mystickskye is pretty darn cool too.
Love this introduction of yours. We don't often get paragraphs of info from new members. XD
Shiny things RAWK.

Jammer is an awesome name. It's on the same level as the Transformer Jazz who's awesome for the fact that his name is Jazz. He's a cool character to boot but it's his name which is the starting point. For that matter, Blaster, Soundwave and Soundblaster are cool too :p
As for info... I can ramble. Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't. My friends claim it's dependant on the average amount of sesame seeds on the buns of the McDonald's Big Mac burgers on any given day.
And you seem cool. Tilly's shown me some of your artwork and a lot of it is brilliant xp I can't draw myself but I took this amusing photo.

Hey Mystickskye! I recognise you from LJ... I'm Koobine, although here I just go by Steve. Welcome to the board!
Here's your complimentary Sauropod!

Because I found it funny :p
And hurray! Someone recognises me! *is brain dead from 7 hour long work on an optics physics quiz*
Hurray for dinosaurs! And Calvin and Hobbes!

I think your tilly-sig is funny. I would not change it either.
I think your long introduction is quite clever. I believe you will get along fairly well with the more level-headed people of the board.
As for myself, I like to draw on occasion. I am no fan of zoids. (Not that I dislike zoids, it is just that I have never seen an episode of the anime or own a zoid model.) I am here because I am a friend of a fan and I decided to stick around.
Welcome to ZE. I do hope you stay.

Ahoy there! Welcome to the forums, blah, blah, blah and eat cheese. Wheee!
Rambling is fuun. Upside down Cannon Tortoise is not. Poor little thing. It is funny, though.

Wilkommen and all that, Skye. I'm glad you like my name. It's not even made up, it's just my name. What's funnier is that my best friend's name is Lee. So if we had kids and hyphenated their surnames they'd be called Rocke-Lee. (<--Naruto pun in a Zoids forum!)
And you never know, one day I might just meet you for real. NZ isn't so far away. Especially if there's a convention...
Mystickskye - May 11, 2006 03:24 AM (GMT)
I live in the South Island. Where there are no conventions. Or anything interesting. I cry.
But yes, Rocke is an awesome name. Adding e on the end of it makes it something like 100 times better than Rock. Or Peter. Cookie for references.
The_Princess - May 12, 2006 01:39 AM (GMT)
Thwaps you with a spork.
20 ponits if you can guess who i am.

Kids from church sometimes called me Simon or Peter when I was little. Extra cookie for biblical references.
