Geno Saurer - June 2, 2006 04:48 PM (GMT)
Sporks are been seen and heard of in more and more places over the last few years. Are they taking over the world?

A Spork is a combination of a spoon and a fork; a spoon-like utensil with prons like a fork, which can both impale and scoop.

Sporch, I say.
Sporch = Storch + Spork.

Good news, people... well, people who like sporks anyway. It looks like Sporks have
splades beaten by quite some distance, judging from these Google results:

"Sporch" has more results than "Splade"!http://www.google.co.uk/search?client=fire...G=Google+Search

Of course sporks are taking over the world. Spork is a household name. Name recognition is a key advantage.
However, fork, spoon, knife, and chopsticks have been around much longer than spork.. Their wisdom and old age and the fact that they clearly outnumber spork counts as a huge disadvantage towards spork.. However, if spork has a lot of money and a good lawyer, spork will do just fine.

I'm a big fan of the foon, myself, but I like playing sporks in school during lunchtime. Fun... I think the foon could beat the spork in a game of sporks, but sporks may win when it comes to tactical warfare. :wacko:

I haven't seen sporks in ages.. I think the last time I used one was when I was on the plane back from Japan (2 years ago!)

I answered no, since standard flatware is all I can seem to find..
But it was fun... the other day at work I cooked up some ramen noodles and then I realised that we didnt have a single fork in the whole building. SO.. I got creative.. I took a razor blade and a soup spoon and MADE a spork.

That sunded like a paragraph from a Smurfs comversation, only subtract the word smurf, and inject foon and spork.
I understood nothing of your post. Tactical warefair in the hads of a spork? Now THAT, is worthy of a nobel prize just for thinking up something like that.
