Waaaay back in December, I ranted about "March of the Penguins" http://z4.invisionfree.com/Zoids_Evolution...wtopic=3943&hl= , and stupid fundamentalists reading religeous subtext that wasn't there into it. I also jokingly said that I'd try to read hidden subtext in the next nature documentary I watched. Well, I rented "National Geographic Video! Eternal Enemies: Lions and Hyenas" from the Library today. Lessee what hidden moral subtext I can (mis)interpret from the bickering of these two Apex predators!



LOLOLOL okayz. The Blood Feud between the Lion and the Hyena is clearly a complex moral allegory illustrating the dangers of progressive thinking and the adherance to longstanding tradition we must uphold!

In Christian mythology, the Lion is depicted as a noble animal. He is the King of the Beasts, and he is proud, regal and righteous. (The narrative in the documentary speaks out against anthropomorphism, painting the lion as an animal and not the noble creature of myth, but HAY the narrative in March of the Penguins said the penguins AREN'T monogamous but we ignored that ANYWAY and imposed our own human ideas and concepts onto them regardless. What the stupid *narrative* says is irrelivent to our anthropomorphic interpretation of the Lion/Hyena conflict!!!1) Gender roles are clearly defined in the Pride social hierarchy; the female lionesses are subservient to their male overlords; she bears his children and brings him sustinance just as God intends us humans to do as well. The Lions are symbolic of all that is good in our Patriarchal society.

The Hyenas, on the other hand, are symbolic of the moral decay seen in our modern world. They feed upon foul, rotting carcasses, symbolising poverty. Their pups engage in mock intercourse and kill eachother in struggles over food and social status, symbolising the sexual deviancy and increasingly violent, anarchist attitude and overall moral decay present in today's youth. The gender roles among the Hyenas are not as clearly defined as the lions; they are androgynous, the females posessing an excess of male hormones, no (HOLE LEADING TOWARDS THE UTERUS-take THAT, you stupid word censor! THingy my FOOT!>_>) and an elongated clitoris reminiscent of a phallus- this is symbolic of homosexuality, which is also androgynous, and like the hyenas, foul and dangerous and morally corrupt. In addition, the Hyenas are dominated by an Alpha female, symbolising the dangers of feminism.

In a clash between the Lions and the Hyenas, the Alpha Female Hyena is slain by the Alpha Male Lion, throwing the Hyena clan into chaos and anarchy as they quarrel amongst eachother for control. This is symbolic of Tradition overcoming dangerous, progressive thinking; the Righteous male Lion crushes the Evil Female Hyena and his Pride Flourishes while the structure of the Hyena clan crumbles, demonstrating the flaws and the fragility of progressive thinking compared to the tried and true methods of righteous tradition. And like the Lion kills the Hyenas to ensure the safety his Pride, we in turn must stamp out the dangerous ideas that the hyenas represent in order to ensure the well being of our own society; corrupt ideas such Homosexuality, Abortion and Evolution, and the radicals that support these ideas.

EDIT: Oh, and, umm... there's a Cobra in the film too. Snakes are eeebil, Adam and Eve allegory to sin blahblahblah. The snake attacks a lioness and her cubs die of its venom and are eaten by the hyenas, and this is representitive of the danger of sin to tradition or something, and why we shouldn't allow sin to "poison" our traditional society.

In conclusion, "Eternal Enemies: Lions and Hyenas" teaches us that women belong in the home, barefoot and pregnant, and that if it ain't broke, don't fix it. SEE? LAWL WE SHOULD LOOK TO THE ANIMAL KINGDOM TO SOLVE ALL OUR PROBLEMS THEY'RE EXCELLENT EXAMPLES UMG. :D:D:D:DXD

That... is the biggest peice of garbage, I have ever had the unfortune to learn about. Honestly, religon needs to be kept behind closed and sealed doors, or banished entirely. Thats the sadest thing I've read in a great while. Why most I even associte myself with such people since we are both of the same species? Its discusting.

The movie taught you all fo that? That reminds me of that time the video game 'Spear of Destiny' taught me the following:

If you find a chaingun, you automatically find a machinegun as well;

So, from Zoids itself I can conclude, the perfect Zoid evolved, is an ultimate x, is also an alpha zoid, and has metal zi somewhere on it. It's also probably a liger. I vote a four legged Iguan with metal zi eyelashes. *works on King Iguan* :ph43r:

Its higher than 5% in my neighborhood. More like 30%, as I see the signs, and protestors daily, being there is a church every quarter block in any direction. As well the handouts on my door step once or twice a week.

Not all religious people act like that, but enough do that I will happily dismiss them from my person, anytime I can manage.

I have no real opposal to religion on its own, as I know truth from fiction, so it doesn't matter me, but I DO oppose outword discussions and claims. Mainly since I prefer there not to be arguements, or disputes over something thats irrelivent. Life is more important than lifes origin, thus why argue over whats wrong and right?

The Lions = Jesus and his flock.
The hyenas = THE ENEMY (The Devil) and his demons meant to tear down his flock.
