Title: Thinking of getting this

I thinking of getting the Adesso CyberTablet 12000. I see that it has a large area to work on and nice resolution, but as I look around I see conflicting reviews. Some people say it's too large and sensitive, while others say it's an amazing yet unexpensive product. Others suggest a Wacom, but I cant afford that right now. A Wacom Intuos3 9x12 is almost 3x more than the 12000, the only difference would be the higher resolution and a highrt senitivity level (which is good but do I really need it? ;) ).

I have about $295USD, can anyone suggest a better product within range or tell me if the CyberTablet 12000 good or not?

I found an Intuos 6x8 too big and prefer my 4x5, others I know swear by 6x8-and you could likely get a Intuos of that size (or Graphire) for the money you're suggesting. Their pens are awesome.

The one person I know with a ginormous tablet actually finds it too big...

I can't vouch for the brand either way, sorry. From what I've read things other than Wacom and maybe Apitek are crap, but for all I know it could be some up and coming contender that turns out to be decent.

I can afford a Graphire 6x8 but Im going to have to go pick it up since its cheaper ;) good thing its not too far. With that I can also order a Adesso just to test it, but I hear that their pens suck and need batteries.
