The majority if J-Pop rather than the other two. As many know, J-Pop has many forms and forms tend to be unique to artists though some share similar styles (like Two-Mix and MAX). As for my absolute favorite, Paradise GO!!GO!! (Also known as ParaGo, they performed Real Love, the first Zoids Genesis ending) They're actually a dance group but they do music too with their lead singers Misaki and Kiyomi. They're are extremely talented and have a strong fanbase though I was a bit upset when my favorite member Yuka left. Anyways, their PVs are extrodinary and I suggest watching them. They put most cheerleading groups to shame in terms of dancing.

Early Chicago, REM, Tull, U2 and the like are still favorites, what a surprise. Squirrel Nut Zippers (does anyone else know their music?) and Digimon stuff seems to like me lately, and I got Rantinan addicted to the former. HAH.

I like guitars. And flutes. And drums doing interesting things instead of just basic patterns, and interesting harmony...

What the hell is your problem? Music is about personal taste. If he likes listening to asian pop, then let him be. Heck, if asians like to only listen to asian pop, then let them be.

Just got a CD the other day from a local artist named Ty Maxon. A friend saw him at the art fair. His music is folky and he has this mellow, almost feminine voice, so it's nice soothing music to fall asleep to.

If you truly desire it, I can get all of the Orange Range albums for you but I'm not sure how I would send them to you.
